Excellent hotel a few minutes out of Orgiva city. Nice garden and interiors, very nice and confortable rooms. From here you can walk to Orgiva in a few minutes, or take the car. Mind, parking in Orgiva is difficult. We did a stop here while driving from Almeria to Granada, and take our time visiting the Sierra Nevada the following...

We had a 3 night break here to attend a wedding in the area. The hotel is family run and very friendly. The rooms are clean and have lovely views of the mountains. They are not luxurious but do the job! There is a lovely pool which is freshwater, we had this mainly to ourselves! There are some sun beds...

This was a hotel we came across many years ago when we were looking for an overnight stop on a long road trip. We were so impressed by the setting in a beautiful valley. It has lovely gardens with the palms and orange trees. We made it our base for a few days hiking in the Sierra Nevada. It was a...

A gem in the beautiful surroundings of the Alpujarras mountains. A friendly family run business making your stay feel home from home. Although basic, exceptionally clean rooms and beautiful gardens with a wide variety of plants and trees. Very good food with an excellent value 'set price' menu on offer each day. The disappointments for me were no tea making...

It was refreshing to arrive in beautiful countryside at Hotel Taray, a family-run establishment set amidst orange and olive plantations. A large pool is set in the gardens, with views to the Sierra Nevada. The food was reasonably good, the barman very helpful in teaching me Spanish numbers and, of course, providing drinks accompanied by excellent plain crisps. The staff...

This is a small hotel with a very rustic and authentic feel about it. Yes, the room could have done with little updating, but for me this actually added to the charm. It is set in beautiful gardens a couple of miles outside Orgiva, which I walked to each day. The staff were very welcoming and courteous, the room cleaned...

Lovely location, surrounded by mountains, decent rooms although not luxury, beautiful grounds and very good food. Let down by the fact that they allow some staff and locals to smoke in the bar - as it's open plan the smell drifts into the restaurant and games room, not great if you're there with kids as we were.
