The hotel is located at 5 minutes walk from the two main attractions, the Catedral and the bishop's house made by Gaudí. We had a room with the window to the square but we did not hear anything, perhaps because double glass windows. The breakfast is just fine, nothing special. The lady that received us in the evening was nice...

Very reasonably priced hotel. Exceptionally clean and spacious. Friendly reception staff. Astorga is small and this lovely hotel is in the square . 5 minute walk to cathedral and reconnection to Camino . Highly recommend .

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Astur Plaza. Our room overlooked the plaza, but double layers of glass provided more than adequate soundproofing. Our room was spacious with an extra large king bed. The bathroom also had an oversized shower and modern fixtures, quite clean and usable. Breakfast was just OK with a reasonable variety of items, but poor coffee,...

It all started well, clean room, good bed but the plastic cups cut ones lips, the volume control meant we needed subtitles instead of using the volume control and when we asked the receptionist for locations to eat the phrase 'blonde' jumped into my mouth as she was unable to respond in any meaningful manner. In summary come and judge...

The hotel is conveniently located in the Plaza. It serves its purpose in catering to your general needs. We also ate dinner at their restaurant which is adjacent to the hotel. The meal was OK, but nothing exceptional. This has a three star rating. But the breakfast it offers does not jibe with the three star rating. I found it...

The hotel was very nicely located in the pretty square. The room was neat and tidy, the bathroom was nice with a stone finish. Breakfast was nothing special but ok. Could not knock the hotel for the price.

Warm welcome by hotel staff on arrival. Secure parking available for cycles. Old style hotel, very clean and large rooms. Very quite rooms and AC and TV. Hotel has a very good restaurant and bar. Good local food and value. Breakfast was basic. Over all good stay.

We wanted to enjoy a drink on this hot late afternoon. The terrace was not busy at all. We sat down and waited waited waited (despite that waiter saw us but did not acknowledge us) Another waitress was also there but did not look after us even she was not busy. Then 4 other customers arrived just beside us and...

Thank you Marita for the wonderful stay. She requested Paella without seafood and it was amazing! We had 2 beers waiting for us in the room frig along with some water. During my hate with marita they really gear their hotel toward the Pilgrims walking the Camino. Thank you! That was us. We were using Astorga as our start point...

This is a lovely hotel in the central plaza of Astorga along the Camino. Reception staff were delightful consistently throughout my stay. My room, facing the inside courtyard was functional and clean. There was a complementary mini bar which while limited was a nice extra. Breakfast was nice although the coffee was hideous! I had dinner at the restaurant and...

“If driving in and planning to park in the underground car park: (1) make sure you have a small car and (2) get clear directions to the car park entrance...it's NOT easy to find. We circled at least three times after a long day's drive before we found it.”
