Spent the night on a business trip. Very well maintained place. Garden was nice and pool was a treat. View from my room was out to Arniston - really stunning. Owner was really nice and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. I'm glad I was not sleeping in as the movement in the loft above the room...

The accommodation is first class and the service is great. Our room had ample space with a huge bathroom. Breakfast was very good and set us up for our days activities. Our reason to visit Bredasdorp was to go to the southern most point of Africa which is about a 30 minutes drive away. We did not expect to find...

The location originally comprised two separate private dwellings;hence the entrances situated on two different streets. The Manor house where we slept was built in the early 1900's and this determined the decor. Some reviewers may have found it 'tired' and 'old' 'in need of a refurb' but it would be difficult to modernise it without gutting the whole place. We...

we stayed here one night, it is a nice hotel/ B+B with tastefully decorated rooms etc. the weather did not permit to swim and enjoy the garden, it is all there and well maintained. a minor point was that my room had a bit of a mould smell, when ventilating well it was ok, but some maintenance is needed. the...

Bredasdorp may not be everyone's cup of tea but this property was the first on our drive along the Garden Route. It did not disappoint. Grand room , lovely breakfast , pleasing garden. Well worth a stop if you are also driving from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth.

Location would be fine if you are not interested in staying in Agulhas. I didn't mind the half hour drive from Agulhas, although I could've stayed in Agulhas since I came during off season. The property has a lot of personality and charm, I stayed in a very spacious honeymoon suite. I should come back with my wife. I really appreciate...

We had one night in Bredasdorp. We picked the Bredasdorp County Manor due to the good reviews, and we were not disappointed! Annemarie is very friendly and we had a very warm welcome. After a very nice welcome-coffee we followed one of her suggestions for dinner. There is a parking space available. The rooms are big, very nicely decorated with...

This is a lovely place with a kind and friendly hostess, Anne-Mare. I stayed in the Red Room, which was beautiful and comfortable. I arrived late at night and the heater was already on and Anne-Mare also made sure I had a warmed bed to retire to by switching on the electric blanket. The breakfast was very good; I particularly...

Kind of a typical B&B as we would have expected it in South Africa. Very nicely maintained and a lovely matron in charge. We stayed in the Bredasdorp country manor for one night on our way from the Eastern Cape back to Cape Town as we wanted to visit Cape Agulhas. It was the perfect stop for one night and...
