We stayed 4 nights here and we didn't expect a great deal for 60EUR per night but although the rooms were large and airy the accommodation was not well organised. When we arrived in the middle of the afternoon the owner wasn't there and we had to wait an hour for him to return. We were then offered a glass...

We arrived at this idyllic country guest house to be greeted by The owner who immediately offered us a glass of wine at the table in the dining room/ kitchen, having travelled a long way we asked for our room and were told it would be two hours before it was ready so we had no choice but to enjoy...

Well, it is hard to find a better place for a "real" Tuscan sightseeing with so many advantages: modest price with an excellent quality of the offer, vicinity to Siena (15 min by car).. And beauty, beauty, beauty of the Tuscan countryside! The owners are very fruendly and helpful. The rooms are fantastic, traditionally simple, super-clean and spacious. The place...

We weren't sure about not going to a normal hotel, but now I know we made the right choice! The hotel is very cool and charming and the surroundings are awesome. The room was quite big and confortable. Breakfast was great, loved the bakery! The owners were the kindest hosts ever. I'm sad we only spent one night there!

If you look for an authentic stay in an old rural estate with wonderful surroundings you can't go much better. Nice, spacious rooms with stunning view into the Tuscan hills and Chianti vineyards, perfectly calm and with the nicest hosts you can imagine. Rosella and Enzo do their utmost to welcome you and make you feel at home. Grazie Rosella...

My husband and I stayed for a week at this wonderful farm house. It used to be a convent many decades ago so there is history here and a story to be heard. Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed, a wardrobe and a dresser. The two shuttered windows overlooked the vineyards and the soft green Chianti hills. It...

We stayed only 1 night. It is in the middle of nowhere, good for walking or biking or even car exploring of Chianti. The property is clean, it is a bit in medievale style. The problem is that owners doesn't speak very good English, only Italian. It would be nice to talk to them, they are very friendly, but it...

Staying here was the highlight of our trip. We arrived on the equivalent of Memorial Day in the U.S. so our drive from Milan was exceptionally long. When we arrived Enzo waited on us hand and foot. We were treated to wine from their vineyard at a table outside. While we relaxed, Enzo cooked a variety of meat on a...

Ok so we passed the very exclusive Dievole Estate on our way to here so to say we were a little bemused on arrival is an understatement. A small family home with a table for two outside and a working family kitchen is what we first saw. Our bedroom was cold and the water took some heating. No bikes to...

Loved this little place. Off the beaten path in a 1000 year old Tuscan Villa about 10 km from Sienna. We really enjoyed our stay here this summer. The air conditioning in our room was on the fritz, but the staff made every effort to get it repaired. Let me just say in the summer you need it as the...
