This was our fourth visit to Gigliola House, something which speaks for itself. The house itself is a delight, ideal for a couple with or without children or for two couples. Sergio and Gigliola, the owners, are incredibly hospitable with just the right amount of friendliness and attentiveness, yet you feel undisturbed and relaxed. The hospitality provided is incredible, from...

All the previous reviews are absolutely correct. We stayed here as a family 6/8/16 to 13/8/16. The Villa's owners could not have been more welcoming and the villa was very well appointed with many nice touches. The welcome hamper and the fridge were so well stocked even the homemade tomato sauce which was excellent. Pool lovely and big. Location fantastic....

Stunning holiday in a beautiful location. Our hosts were so kind and generous - genuinely stunned by their attentiveness! The nearby village has a bar, restaurant, bakery, shop and chemist and is easily walkable from the villa - which itself had everything you could wish for and more. Brilliant!!!

Stayed for a week, through James Villas, and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing experience. The villa, set in countryside just outside a small village, is complete with 12m pool (ideal for proper swimming), is spacious and luxuriously furnished. It is well placed for day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Voltara and several smaller un-touristy (but more authentic) villages. The welcome from...

We have come back for our second visit (our first being in 2011) and we are again very impressed with the standard of the villa and the warmth and generosity of our greeting from the hosts Sergio and Gigliola. A week spent relaxing by the pool with an odd visit out to local towns and restaurants (which were better than...

Great time had on this holiday, helped by the great location of this villa. Perfect to get to the local villages and larger cities too. Hosts were just perfect. Pool and private outside dining area were a welcome addition to the house. The welcome pack from the owners was the best I have ever had - including some home made...

Just got back from spending a week here. Could not fault the whole experience. The hosts (who live behind the villa) Sergio and Gigliola, welcomed us with process and snacks, they had also filled the fridge with food and drink, and a variety of different foods. The villa was spotless and so very comfortable. Nothing left out, absolutely everything you...

Just back from a one week stay in the Villa Gigliola and I must say we had a wonderful week. This is a lovely villa centrally located in the beautiful Tuscan countryside with all the facilities you would need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Before we arrived we were a little anxious about the fact that the owners lived...

We have just returned from an amazing week staying in this beautiful villa in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Firstly the villa. Spotlessly clean, well appointed with a fantastic private pool. A great place to sit and relax after a busy day exploring the sights of e region. Secondly, the hosts. Sergio and Gigliola are simply perfect. Sergio is...

We can only echo the comments of previous reviewers about the quality of the welcome pack and the warmth of the greeting from the owners - we definitely weren't expecting aperitifs on the terrace. The welcome pack was also the best we have had - the remains of the parmesan cheese came home with us! The villa was immediately homelike,...
