Located far enough from the main road to enjoy from the sound of silence. Amazing views during the Day and at night over the valleys and the town of Sohra. Well spaced comfortable rooms, proper matrasses, crisp and clean bathrooms, and not to forget amazing hospitality and a Yummie Cuisine. They serve all kinds of local, indian and western food! All the main attractions in the region can be easily visited during the day, it is nice to return after a busy Day to this warm and friendly place!

The most fantastic accommodation in and around cherrapunjee. Wonderful service and friendly staff add to a great atmosphere. My experience here was an unforgettable one. Witnessing the magic of Cherapunjee in all her glory during the winter... what makes it most memorable are the interactions with the Inn's owner, Bansan Kupar Lyngdoh - He'll keep you entertained with folk lore and incredible people stories from his town.. i've had the best conversation with the kind man. A suggestion: Ask him to take you on a tour of his bakery which is right in the backyard of his home since 1982! A must must visit.....

Tempted a low budget backpacker like me to move to a luxury yet nature kissed place like this! Was tired and wanted to rest a bit but decided to stay elsewhere , till when I saw this place and immediately decided to move in. The rooms are spacious and beautiful , also very close to nature with natural furniture with a lot of warmth in the air. I spent a wonderful evening with the owner who was very friendly and other guests around the fireplace, the night was spent with stories across the world and ended with a fabulous dinner by the kitchen staff. The next morning as I left to the double root bridge and unknowingly ate a blush red fruit called 'Snake fruit' by the locals. Its sweet initially but ends up horribly burning your mouth. The hotel staff helped me a lot in dealing

To say that this place could be a reason to visit Cherrapunjee would not be an exaggeration. They have amazing staff. Extremely courteous and ready to make your stay comfortable and memorable. They're relatively new so that locals are not much aware of it. They arranged bonfire to help us through the cold, served us tea and snacks along with it, prepared amazing dinner to our request. Benson is a very courteous man and kept checking on us if we were comfortable and the staff had a smiling face always :) Special thanks to John who on a Christmas day took me to his cousin who was a doctor because everything else was closed that day and we sort of had an emergency before departing from the place. Customer Service came naturally to these folks. Well done!

Soon after arriving on a cold, December evening, the staff immediately set up a bonfire to help us (a group of seven) get accustomed to the chilly weather. The staff later served us snacks right around the bonfire and meals in our rooms the next day after we were unwilling to leave the warmth of our rooms. The hotel has simple amenities yet the lobby and rooms are fairly large, airy with high ceilings. The rooms at the same level as the reception have access to Wi-Fi and if you need Wi-Fi late in the night, you may have to request them to keep it turned on. However, the hospitality and the food bag the top honours. The staff were very genuinely caring and made our stay as comfortable as possible. Considering they seemed Khasi, the vegetarian meals we ordered were delectable and
