This Aisha Guest house hotel is very nice place to stay in Cherrapunjee near to Ramkrishan Mission Ashram and 3.9 km from Nokhailikai fall. Rooms were very neat and clean and same as shown in the pics. View from room is very awesome. Hotel has own parking. Food was tasty, and service was good. Nice stay. I recommend this hotel in cherrpunjee. Sunrise from the roof of hotel was very awesome, dont miss it. I found the bike of owner is very nice better than its original colour, Hero Xpulse. Owner and staff is very nice. Especially Phebian.

Decent place within budget. Placed in city and within a km of entering Sohra if coming from Shillong. Good service, neat and clean rooms with hot running water. Helpful staff (special callout to Arab for his service). Breakfast is served at 8am and dinner at 8pm.

It's one of the best budget option available in the heart of sohra city. Rooms are decently spacious and you will find all amenities with a great view. Do request room on second floor preferably 202 it gives great fall view. I will also recommend to visit roof top as it provide 360 degree view of the city. The staff is very courteous and don't expect full service hotel style treatment and you should then have a decent stay. I myself climbed few extra floors for things which I needed urgently in odd hours. Thanks to all the staff members for treating us well.

Good stay at Sohra, Meghalaya. Well maintained property. Rooms service are very good. Foods are quite ok within reasonable price. Owner is taking care the property personally, but Manager behavior was not so polite. Owner behavior was very good. Overall our 1 day stay was pleasant.

Location is pathetic, difficult to get parking. rooms were okay. awful room service. we paid for MAP package but never got food which can fill our tummy. I will never recommend this property. staff were not helpful at all.

No reception before 8 am Staff unequipped to handle even water bottle .Had to get it from outside after waiting for over 1 hr.Manager is missing all the time at reception. Poor service .not recommended for family people only bachelor's. Worst hotel of the tour.

Excellent view from the window. Nice cozy room. Clean washroom. Five star service. Excellent location. Right in the top of the hill. Bazar and bar is nearby. Laundry service also available. Complementary breakfast. Room service also good.

The good - Rooms are of decent size, considering this is a guest house. The room and toilet were clean and so was the linen. Despite the guest house being in the Sohra market, it has parking for a few vehicles within the premises. The food and service are good but as another reviewer here mentioned, service starts late. We had a problem with the tea kettle in our room and I came down to the reception at 8 am to seek help. Staff was sleeping on the sofas and the kitchen was yet to start! The not-so-good - This was our first visit to Cherrapunji and due to a heavy downpour, we were late by a couple of hours in arriving from Shillong. By this time, it was dark and because of the rain, very few people were out on the road. We lost our way within Sohra. We spent almost an hour running around in circles within 3 kms of the property, trying to locate it. The GPS kept misguiding us. During this time, several frantic calls to the guest house remained unanswered. Later, the guest house told us that they never received any calls due to a poor network! The guest house runs on a very tight inventory. Be careful while placing your pre-meal orders. It's likely you will not get a second helping. We had ordered Poha to be served in breakfast the next day. The portions were average and we were still hungry. They ran out of bread after serving us three toasts! We feel the guest house is a little overpriced, leaving scope for bargain. As I mentioned earlier, Aisha is in a market and you step out into a lane with buildings all around.

First of all we were not even considering this place, but we were too late with our bookings and after much thinking we decided to book Aisha Guest House. Sometimes things happen for good they say and we totally agree with that in this case. This property is right in the main town of Sohra (Cherrapunjee) and at the highest point. The property is very well maintained and is very cozy and nice. It is also close to all the touristic spots you want to see around the town. You have access to the terrace of this property which gives you 360 degree view of the entire town which is amazing. The Sohra market is less than 100 meters from the place. Overall peaceful place right in between the hustle bustle of market. In terms of food they have their in house kitchen from which you can do A la carte. The food was good and tasty. You can request them to cook some local dishes as well. They have both Veg and Non-Veg options. Phiban the host was very kind and helped us with information about the town and places to go and experience. We were here for our 1st wedding aniversay and our room was filled with balloons and candles and it was very romantic atmosphere. We loved it. Its worth the price and you will not regret staying here. So, we like to stamp it from our end as a recommended.
