Loved it. Scenery excellent and everything else on the package including a candlelit dinner was worth the money. Better this than paying an extortionate amount for Mauritius’ honeymoon package. Swimming pool cleaner than the villages. Staff helped our stay feel private so we can enjoy and endure intimacy without any distractions.

Sauna and steam facilities were exceptional, as we were the only guys that booked in during the evening as it was booked off as full in the morning. They gave us the facilities to use by ourselves with no one else allowed to join, plus they rang our hotel room to let us know it’s free and available.

Outside catering is magnificent, you can find everything you like and the menu isn’t pricey like ££££ that but much more like this ££. However, better arrangements for other cuisines would’ve been better. Nevertheless, the menu fits everyone’s dietary requirements, so no hassle and no empty stomach.

The staff at the reception speak clear, punctual English and not broken English. They’re very professional and love helping foreigners like myself.

Would I recommend? Of course. It cost us a total amount of 18,500 tk. That’s like just under £159 or so. Which is very good since you get strong free WiFi. All inclusive honeymoon package plus free bed and breakfast buffet. You can get up to 2 add-ons on the package for free. We chose entertainment - so 1 free movie to watch from a selection at the cinema inside the hotel itself and also the jacuzzi experience. Both worth it. The minibar provided in the room, is the only let down as it’s not free; anything taken from the minibar costs, but all of them are European products like Toblerone, Twix, Jack Daniels and Rockstar Energy.

This hotel is a mecca for local tourism. Set amidst beautiful tea plantations, the hotel is modern and clean. I visited around New Year's. The hotel was sold out. The lunch buffet was overcrowded with long waits. The New Year's Eve dinner was a buffet that was adequate at best. The shrimp tower was never refilled. There was a long wait for diet soda. The wait staff was ill prepared for the crowds. No alcohol (only "western" hotels are allowed to serve alcohol). The room was adequate but needed some maintenance (paint, plaster, etc).

Probably the best place to stay in the area, it would certainly be much nicer when the hotel is not so crowded.

Visit during the winter is ideal as you get to walk around without worrying about the heat. Pricewise, they are definitely on the high end. In my opinion, if they knocked a couple of bucks, it would be great. Great for a 2 nights trip. Make sure to explore the surrounding areas too. Check out their website.

My family and I went there to have lunch. 6 of us including two babies and our driver. Only 3 of us were going to eat but the servers wouldn’t accept us ordering a pizza and two platters of food. He forced us to order 6 plates!!! Not only did 3 of the plates go to waste but so did my money!!! The servers were not professional (as this is a very high end hotel) they were dancing and making quirky remarks about my wife and sister in law.

I would suggest if you’re coming to bangladesh, save your money and find somewhere else more accommodating. The security guards were nicer and more helpful than the servers.

My bill came out to 8990 Tk whereas it could have just been 4000 and I could have left a fat tip had there been good service. I have been tipping left and right all over the country and this is the one place I did NOT!!!

I felt that They gave super attention to detail when making this hotel! the lobby is so spacious and luxurious. rooms are really big and clean. views are amazing. the pool and the cafe near the pool is top notch!! and the outside area feels like every corner made by hand!
we took the full board package so we had 3 buffets every day and there was a huge variety of foods and being refilled continuously!
overall a perfect stay!

We stayed there for 2 nights. Refreshing welcome drinks were served. Loved the mild herbal aroma present in the ambience. Highly appreciate the reception staff who has recommended us to choose a room with 2 queen beds. The room has view of the Children's playground and partial swimming pool along with the greenery and sky. Very well maintained place with friendly and promptly supporting staffs. The lobby is very wide with comfy sofas. Hygiene protocols are also properly maintained except the non-functional temperature measuring device at the entry. Picture perfect place to have great shots. Enjoyed watching movie with complementary pop-corns. The Spa was temporarily closed.
Few observations/recommendations -
1. Accomodation for chauffeur is not available,
2. Food is very pricey,
3. Buffet has limited food options and tastewise also not upto the mark. At least having egg station during breakfast and kids friendly dishes is a must.

Grand Sultan Tea Resort and Golf is one of the most beautiful resorts in Bangladesh. In fact, any person's mind will be good here, because the environment here is very captivating. Their food, room service, indoor outdoor, children's play area, a nice large library and an important thing is that the use of their staff is very nice and friendly. All in all 5 star quality service, we enjoyed very much. It really feels like a sultan here. InshaAllah we will go again.

We are Bangladeshi's, a family of 5 adults who are residing overseas for decades. We got the opportunity to explore Sreemongol this time and picked Grand Sultan for our stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, facilities, the food and hospitality!

The lake water though, can definitely be maintained better by using clear fresh water.

Nonetheless, pleasantly surprised by the standards maintained and will definitely visit again especially for the food and hospitality!

A classic stay at the Grant Sultan made my days filled with relaxation and calm during last winter when I was there for an official trip. The swimming pool and Jacquzii was fantastic. A wide range of varieties during Breakfast was another charm of the days. The large yet cozy lounge, supportive front desk, pool services, meeting rooms were excellent.
The tea gardens and reserve forest beside the hotel are woth to visit.

Came to grand sultan ordered food at the orongo bilash restaurant. Was greeted very well, we ordered our food at 17:05, by 17:35 two ordered came to the table. Waited 5 minutes then asked about my bolognaise they said it will be here in 5-7 minutes. By the trims I got my food my partner and sister already ate the food. My food arrived at 17:55 it not nice at all and I could tell it was rushed, non of the waiters or manger apologied for the delay with my food. I heard the waiter tell his colleagues I read the order to the chef so why did the chef forget. Absolutely disgusting service. The menu was very expensive yet the disappointment at the service that was received.
