We booked this hotel because non other was available for one nights stay . Knowing that this was 3 star hotel I booked an executive room wanting more space and amenities . But despite that we were given a normal delux room by the front desk person . Later when we asked for a better room we were shifted by another staff member ( so a bad start) . Location is good as it’s quite central Parking is limited but the staff helps you park .. Breakfast was also very below average both in taste and variety .. not worth the money we paid for it 😞

I thought my room was excellent value. Only stayed for 1 night as I arrived from Delhi , late afternoon with intention to leave next morning to visit Gwalior Fort & then continue my journey. The hotel is well positioned near both the bus stand & railway station & despite that I found it a quiet place - however, I was lucky in that respect as a wedding reception was due to be held the following evening. Think about that eventuality before you book. Staff were efficient , my room was large & clean with twin beds , table armchair , desk , a/c , t v. Also drink making facilities. Bed linen was clean. Bathroom clean with hot water. Only slight point that the shower back curtain was a little mouldy. I used room service for a snack & drink. Did not stop for breakfast. Very happy with choice of hotel.

I was in room no.205. The room is average, the TV wires scattered. The TV didn't work. The room and toilet need better maintenance.The room has a pillar in between which obstructs the mirror placed behind it. Overall it was an average stay.

A very bad experience from a "3-star" hotel that they boast about. Average rooms, and one of the worst washrooms I've ever seen. Flush and jet spray barely works, no exhaust in the washroom. Had minimal interaction with the staff, but even that was a horrible experience. A friend needed to stay for 15 mins as we were heading out for dinner later. They charged extra money for that as well. Electricity went out twice for a fair few minutes. I would not suggest to go here for any reason. I'd suggest Hotel Scarlet any day.

Mine was a 7hrs stay, U checked In at 3A.M and checkout at 10A.M so I booked this place. It was still a bad experience in such a short stay too. Rooms are like 50 year old and need immediate attention. 1. AC made a grumbling noise, so I had to swithch it off and stay in fan. 2. No bed side switch for mobile charging 3. Tea coffee electric kettle had water from previous stay. I wonder if they do housekeeping after checkout or not 4. Electric kettle handle was broken. 5. No stirer or spoon in tea coffee maker. 6. Only 1 cup as another was stuffed with loose Tea bags. 7. TV was not working. 8. Iron was not available even at 9:00A.M as store madam is not available. 10. No shoe shine 11. Curtains are poor fit and let lot of sun enter your eyes when you try to sleep after late night checkin. 12. Toilet seat broken.

Just 10 min walking distance from the railway station. All the major tourist attractions are within a radius of 5 km. Courteous staff and excellent service. Food quality is top-notch. Traveled with my family and had an amazing stay here. The management also allowed late check-out for us making it convenient to catch our train. Highly recommended for leisure travel, especially if traveling with family.

I visited for the Tansen Mahotsav. It is a nice property with an old world charm. Spacious and clean, but old rooms with a decent restaurant. It is conveniently located near the railway station and attractions like the fort not too far away. The staff is very helpful and nice. For the pricing, it is a good option.
