Considering that this is a Government property, this Tourist Lodge is very good. The rooms are comfortable and the view from a few rooms is very good. It is very reasonably priced and quite spacious. Their party hall is quite good and we made good use of it. The food is very reasonably priced and good. We had a dinner...

I was travelling alone to Aizawl and so wanted to stay in a place that appeared safe. The Tourist lodge at Chaltalang being run by the state tourism dept seemed like a reasonable choice. The rooms were clean and reasonably priced. Food was excellent and room service was great. Staff at the reception comprised mostly of females, who were very...

This a property owned by the Government of the State, providing accommodation at very reasonable rates. The Rooms for Double Occupancy are bigger and spacious, while the ones with the Single Occupancy are smaller. Since the Room Rents are not expensive, I recommend the Double Rooms. The Bathrooms are neat and clean, with Hot water available. Laundry facility is also...

Large airy ensuite rooms with balconies providing single, double and family occupancy sprawled over 3 or 4 floors. Prices are modest at INR 1200 per night for single accomodation and Govt Officers need pay only...

What a place to live and that too with less expense. The rooms are very big and the window is big. When you come out the scene is awesome.Room service is good.House keeping is good.Only draw back is that the Wi Fi is not available in the rooms and you need to sit in the lobby to get wifi.Ample parking place.

Good location, spacious rooms, running hot water, good parking facility. For the tariff rooms are good. Food on the menu is spicy and palatable, you can also order traditional mizo cuisine (limited though). Staffs are friendly and helpful, they will arrange for local transportation etc if you enquire. There is absolutely no disturbance from the noise of the city, yet...

I have stayed here for 3 nights and this is the best place to stay when you are in Aizawl. This is not in the market area and away from city's hustle bustle. The rooms are nice, clean, big and have necessary stuff. The bathrooms are also big in size. The best attraction is the balcony which gives you an...

When you stay in any of the govt run hotels, you dont expect much .Rooms are large and spacious. Fairly neat and clean. I stayed twice this month. Both the rooms were same. The bldg seem to have many wings so you will take time in getting familiar with it. Room 310 had problem with the running water due to blockage in...
