Came back a couple of days ago after having a most wonderful holiday. Was very worried after reading previous reviews, but no where as bad as some were making out.The hotel could do with a litte work but nothing major.Could'nt fault the cleanliness at all, rooms cleaned every day without fail.Dinner was the main gripe with people and yes there could be improvements,but...

We have just returned from spending a fortnight at this hotel. We was concerned initially after reading some awful reviews. We have had the best holiday ever and as a result have met some fantastic friends. The hotel itself is not a five star, however, the service is. Nick, Irene, Steve, Uncle Nick and Suzi have all made our stay...

The hotel is fairly old and run down but not to the point of dissuaion, it's very well kept and the rooms are well cleaned and maintained daily. The pool is an average size, suitable for relaxing but there isnt a huge amount of room to swim, can feel quite cramped. The location may not be ideal for all, it...

We stayed at Bayside hotel for one week and glad it was just for a week. When we first arrived we were put in a room in a block seperate to the hotel, opposite some scaffolding. We checked the room, quite basic but what you'd expect for Greece and on a budget, the only problem really with the room was...

I stayed with two of my friends at the Bayside Hotel at the end of June/July for a week with Olympic. The Hotel was basic but with everything we needed - the reception had boards with bus times to Rhodes town (2 euros each way, takes about 25 minutes) and trip details. Our room was cleaned everyday - floors mopped...

We have just returned from our 2 weeks at the Bayside. Although this was not as bad as we had been lead to expect, it certainly left a lot to be desired. On arrival, you have to stump up 100 Euro (for 2 weeks) for air con. As the temperatures were hitting 35 degrees plus, we decided this was a...

On reading on this site a week before going I was wondering what on earth we were going to find when we got there, in fact I rang Olympic travel, but they informed me that they had only had 1 complaint this season. We need not have worried, first of all the room was very clean and also the showerroom/toilet...

Clean, tidy rooms. Other than that third world standard. From a 20 years regular traveller to the island. The remark "well it is Greece" doesnt wash anymore! Alan Childs

Please take advice and do not stay at this hotel if you want an enjoyable holiday. The food is totally inedible- you pay for half board, but have to eat out so you do not starve, the food served is cheap, nasty slop, chicken served feathers stil in tact! the staff were abusive and rude, spent the whole time smoking...
