We travel as a family on a regular basis and have stayed in lots of different hotels. This one was the worst hotel we have stayed at. Rooms are smelly and dirty. The only positive was it was for only 1 night.
The hotel included a round trip to the airport which was very helpful for my first time in Bangkok. The hotel service was very good, room service was great, nice rooftop pool.
It's a good stayover if you are travelling some where else.
Only very ggo thing is the shuttle waiting for you at the airport. All the other is terrible: food & breakfast are bad, very bad smell in room, very noisy (can hear anything hapening in the corridor).

This is not the hotel to "go around Bangkok for a while" If you want to see the city, then take a taxi or train and go to the city, leave your suitcases at the airport. The hotel is near the airport and there is nothing to see there. 15 hours do not sound like much. Take into account that the travel time to the airport can be up to two hours in peak time. I hope this is helpful. Check on Google for more information about distances.
