We stayed here 1 night so we could get up early in the morning to go to dune 45 to see the sunrise. Bathrooms are clean, with a lot of bugs. Great bar - it's a good place to cool off. The barman was very friendly. A lot of space to place the tents. A very nice and quiet camping...

Great camp - has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were quite rude in the shop but that didn't bother us too much. The wifi was also not given when asked. However, having access to the park is great for the early morning hikes up the dunes and we loved our setting - felt very remote with a...

Located inside the National Park just inside the gate means that you can leave earlier to go visit the dunes, an hour before visitors from outside the park. We travelled in February with no prebooking and had no problem staying for 2 Nights. Our site had a circular boundary wall with a tree for shade, power, water and braai. Very clean...

The camp slots are allocated and the plot area was quite good. The trees seemed a bit young and shades were not plentiful, but it was ok. The bathrooms are alright amd clean, but hot water was not available due to maintenance at a particular block.

Sesriem Camp has one major drawcard: its killer location inside the National Park, which allows you to start driving for the famous Dune 45 and Deadvlei as early as 5AM, one hour ahead of visitors who do not stay within the park. However, the campsite has lost a bit of its charm compared to a couple of years ago. The...

Very nice campsite. Had electrical outlet at the camp site. Bathrooms close by and adequate. Was able to get into the park earlier by staying here and got to hike Dune 45 to see the sunrise. Restaurant and bar awesome, with small store with basic camping needs. Wifi really good that the restaurant, available with voucher.

Namibia has some incredible campsites with wonderful people as hosts. This is not one of them. Service is appalling and the only benefit it that you are inside the gates for sunrise. General campsite noise will also keep you up at night, mostly due to their incredibly loud generator. Get your permit the night before from reception and camp at...

Located right after the gate it is a basic camp for self-caterers which offers everything that you need. Each camping space has its own braai, electricity and water-tap. The ablution blocks are clean. Recommendable also for its small price. The advantage of being already inside of the park is that you can leave earlier to go visit the dunes.

We arrived a bit late, so we had to camp at the overflow, non-electricity campsite for the same price. That campsite was far away from all the fascilities. The swimmingpool at the main campsite was Nice through. Conclusion: Allright, but way overprized, especially the overflow campsite.
