We have just had a very enjoyable three night stay at the Golden Fleece. The set up here is quite unusual as all 5 rooms are self-contained in a modern single storey block just at the back of the pub. We were in Room 5, which has the added advantage of an adapted bathroom for those who are less able....

We attended an event in Bridport and at late notice this was the only accommodation near by. We were pleasantly surprised to find a 'hotel style' room inside a nicely refurbished outbuilding. The room was great with a decent bed and a great ensuite. We had a pleasant meal in the pub in the evening and a great full English...

Great find this B&B, second time we have stayed there. Good quiet location, clean and smart. Self contained which means you can come and go as you wish. Breakfast superb and if you choose to eat an evening meal in the pub you will not be disappointed! Downside, wifi in rooms very limited.

Great place to stay. Visiting our son who lives nearby & were just staying one night. We were made to feel very welcome. Lovely rooms, they were like little cottages & breakfast was yummy. Nothing was too much trouble. Will visit again soon!

Slightly disappointed with our first meal out elsewhere in Tatworth, we noted that comments from other previous occupants of our holiday cottage suggested that The Golden Fleece was the better place to dine. Not wrong! We enjoyed large, beautifully cooked portions of tastey food served by extremely friendly and attentive staff. The dining area itself might be considered to be...

Stayed here for one night after a nearby family wedding, the rooms where perfectly laid out. The natural light in the skylights was brilliant to wake up to. Perfect sized shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and there was a decent selection. Would deff recommend to anyone wanting to stay here.

Thank you for the lovely review, I am so pleased you enjoyed the stay and the food. If you do find yourself back exploring the South of England it would be great to see you again. The rooms around the back are 2, 4 and 5 if you liked the quite quadrangle. Kind Regards Carol.

Visited here for evening meal while staying at a near by campsite. We didn't realise the pub had its own campsite & was more peaceful than ours. Excellent simple food, fantastic beer and cider. We would return when next in the area.
