Hotel Sovana is a paradise retreat, located in a town that seems stuck in time, yet with all the amenities and great service that makes your stay just exquisite. The rooms are impeccable, so are the bathrooms. You can have breakfast in the terrace, and you can walk to the couple of restaurant in this tiny town for a great...

I stayed there for a week during a conference (so I cannot really say anything about the prices, because we certainly got a very special deal). The hotel is in the very small 'town' Sovana (about 100 inhabitants), one of three very old sites and quaint towns in (an on) tufo in Southern Tuscany. The hotel is spacious, nice public...

Just spent a week here with 17 other women. The hotel has been constructed to seamlessly fit into this tiny medieval town, with it's entrance direct from the only street. Walls of stone, floors of brick give an ancient feel but contemporary stairs and lots of glass in the dining area open it up to the magnificent grounds, hidden from...

Guided by good reviews we decided to stay here for 6 nights. Initial impressions were very good, with beautiful gardens leading to the entrance. The hotel itself is very well designed with beautiful artwork and an eclectic mix of modern and antique. Sadly, this is where the good news ended. The breakfast is very poor. No cooked options at all,...

We stayed at the Hotel Sovana for a couple of days. It is a lovely resort, and a great getaway. Sovana is a fairly tiny town, some 2 hours away from Siena, so it is an ideal please if looking for some downtime to unwind. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Last stop on our tour and was pleasantly surprised. The town of Sovana was absolutely lovely. The common areas of the hotel are leery stylish, the room did not quite match up to this and the bathroom was very disappointing. Not sure why no upgrade when hotel almost empty. Gardens great. Pool for some reason had hazard tape all round...

I have never written a review before but I just had to after our wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful hotel. Firstly, you are greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. Then the hotel has a private car park. The walk from the car park back to the hotel is through their lovely garden and past the swimming...

We could not be more pleased with this place. We had a view of the medieval church at the end of the village from our window. The bathroom is spacious and so well equipped. The bed was perfect and the linens of the highest quality. The common areas are very tastefully furnished and there is free Wi Fi. Breakfast is...
