Stayed at hotel on 09/09/2022 and returned on the 12/9/2022 on our return journey. Hotel very comfortable and garden’s very pleasant. I would like to thank Federica for sorting our booking out on our return visit. Federica was friendly and professional. I would recommend this hotel, with no hesitation. I will return next time I’m in Italy. 5 Stars
This hotel was not on our itinerary but we were tired so we stopped instead of driving. We were pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel
Situated near Cassino this hotel has recently been refurbished and is immaculate. The bedroom is beautifully designed with great bathroom. Even the toiletries are very attractive. The staff have all been friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. The WiFi is iffy. Lots of parking and comfortable beds with good pillows. Breakfast was okay. The hotel is situated next to a come off for the motorway but you cannot hear the traffic inside the rooms.
We have stayed in Hotel Liola on three occasions with groups from Ireland. Our last visit was on May 31 - 2 June 2017. Gianni, Giorgio and family are really committed to taking care of their guests. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were all very courteous and helpful. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Gianni's wife makes the desserts for dinner and they were really good. Overall, this is an excellent hotel, beautifully decorated and exceptionally well managed. It is in a great location for visiting Montecassino, Roccasecca (birthplace of Thomas Aquinas), and the many war cemetries in the area
Excellent Hotel and restaurant. Family friendly great rooms and great food. The breakfast buffet did have a good selection of fruits, fruit juices, eggs, meats, cheese, rolls, and coffee. The grounds were very well kept and even included topiary.
Good: Easy to find hotel. The staff were all friendly & polite. Nicely decorated, large, clean and well-equipped room. Bright spacious bathroom. The bed was a large comfortable double, with a modern duvet. The breakfast was very good with a good selection. Secure free parking. We would stay here again. Bad: The WiFi was weak in our room. Strong in the hallway. Reception provided a cable to enable us to access the wired network.
Modern hotel very well located : directly at the exit of the highway and very close to the cities of Cassino and Roccasecca. Despite the proximity of the highway, it remains very quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are large enough as well as the bathroom. Breakfast very wide and you can take your lunch and dinner in the same restaurant with a lot of typical italian dishes. To recommend if you stay in the region or to make a short break.
The Hotel Liola is located just of the highway. We were impressed with the serenity and the scenery. Our room had a view of the mountains that completely surround a flat valley in front of us. The grounds were very well kept and even included topiary. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a large bathroom. Our only problem was the comforter on the bed made us uncomfortably hot. Their restaurant served a delicious meal of lemon chicken and pasta carbonara; but the seafood in the seafood pasta was not as fresh as I am used to. The breakfast buffet did have a good selection of fruits, fruit juices, eggs, meats, cheese, rolls, and coffee.
Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting family in Roccasecca. This is a good hotel, decent rate, clean, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. My only turn-off was that there was no storage for my clothes! A tiny closet, no drawers or shelves of any kind - so that was very inconvenient. Oh and also, the shower is very poorly designed. The entire bathroom gets wets while you shower and it's pretty dangerous - you have to be careful. Other than that, there's free wifi and we really enjoyed our stay here.
I was driving with my daughter and my husband from Rome to Naples and almost tired we stopped at this family run hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. But the big surprise was the breakfast: very yummy!! A big choice of handmade jams and compotes, delicious "crostate" and croissants. If you are travelling between Rome and Naples we really recommend this hotel...it worths a visit!
