OK the accommodation is very basic and not too good, but it is priced accordingly and the rooms are clean. If you do stay here go downstairs to the restaurant. We travel from Melbourne and stay here JUST to eat their seafood chowder. It is divine. In fact all the food at the restaurant is very good. And there is...

Very 70s style but all the same, who stays in your room whilst on holidays. The service is very good, food fantastic, great views. So so sad that it will be Closing on the 8th of next month. Due to Progress!

We stayed for about 15 minutes. Very old, I mean ancient. It looks life a halfway house, the carpet was stained, the corridor leading to the room as full of leaves, dirt and other rubbish, the light in the room was very dirty. Of course it smelled. The linen looked clean, but the overall impression was very negative. Two doors...

At $65 per night (including light breakfast) this must surely be the cheapest accommodation in Hobart. The positives are price, location and good staff. The negatives include the noisy location, a smelly room and stained carpet. The bed linen was clean however we received a very old dirty looking hand towel. The shower and bathroom floor had been recently repainted...

We did the booking then read the reviews. From the reviews we expected much worse but the staff were great and the decor was what one would expect for the price and age of the facililty. Spent a lot of time thinking how we would renovate the motel, but overall it provided a good base to explore Hobart for 4...

We stayed at this location based on little other option so were not expecting a lot- which is a good thing as it was terrible. The price was cheap so really you get what you pay for. Our stay included brekky which was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful but the room was very old and tired and I wore...

The motel is located few km from the Hobart city centre, which is 5 min drive. We were in a family room, with 1 queen bed, 1 single bed and 1 bunk bed (sleeps 5 people). Room is spacious, but very old with old carpets and over-used linen. Room opens up to a private garden area. Ensuite too is old...

I stayed at this hotel last tuesday and despite some of the vitriolic reviews on here i was pleasantly surprised. Upon checking in i asked the older man for a wake up call to catch my flight but there was a misunderstanding and i ended up missing my flight. When i awoke and explained what happened to the lady, her...

Found this place and really liked the price (was $107 a night for 4 people including continental breakfast) and the bonus was that it wasn't too far from central Hobart. The old saying you get what you paid for rang true here though. Carpet was filthy and torn, bad smells in cupboards, fridge was hitting the cupboard door that it...
