Average hotel, average food & certainly not a 4 star hotel. The Jet2 site has pictures of a garden view room with double doors opening on to a large balcony, that’s not what we received…. Small room balcony that fits 2 plastic chairs & nothing else overlooking the pool. Location not great as main road directly outside hotel, no pavements so have to walk in the road, dangerous, not great if you’re pushing a pram! Nothing in the vicinity to have a walk to. Food average, everything in a sauce, nothing to tell you what it is. Small vegetarian selection Rooms are clean & staff are friendly but would not recommend this hotel.

Firstly i owe a massive thankyou to, Panos, Andreas, Elly, Spiridould & George. Me and my Fiancée were absolutely blown away by the Hospitality they all provided. Villa (accommodation) - We stayed in the villa overlooking the central bar/swimming pool area, the villa itself was very clean and modern with a private pool and loungers, it looks slightly exposed from the outside but once up there it is very private with direct sunlight from early am-6pm tanning heaven, the cleaners also were absolutely amazing. (only con from an elevated position you can hear the Oasis hotel next door music some nights) Pool Bar/Restaurant - Once again very impressed, the hosts at the bar Andreas and Panos made me feel more comfortable than back in the UK, they are full of advice for anything you need locally and give 110% to their customers and their profession, the cocktails are good and my stomach still hurts from all the laughing and joking. poolside area is very clean, plenty of loungers, private beds, and seating, big pool nothing to complain about.(mostly used private pool and sea) The restaurant has amazing views of the Ionian sea and Albanian mountains make sure you go when the sun sets, The food was very nice, hot & freshly cooked, the waiting staff were lovely and polite(full of smiles), Elly and Spiridould made us feel really comfortable. Private beach area is serene, amazing views, crystal clear water, very calm sea near to no waves, i do advise taking sea shoes as there are a lot of pebbles and the odd sea urchin (tucked deep in the rocks though), if you like snorkelling you will love the location (Coral/Various local fish/urchins/starfish) nice shallows for kids to learn. (only con is the steps are quite tiring and steep to the beach elderly may struggle) Reception staff are brilliant, George really went out of his way to help us with anything we need, any tiny problem he was straight on it, even if i did loose my lighter at 1am. Just outside the hotel there are the bus stops for each direction, local shops, vehicle hire, trip/tour hire so getting around the island from this location is very easy, restaurant's are a short walk away, Nisos and the on location restaurant are my recommendations. (only con lack of pavements, be careful when walking on the roadside, locals are hyper aware of pedestrians when driving so you will be safe with normal road sense) We cannot wait for our next holiday there and will be booking again very soon, when the roof bar/water sports arrive we will need to ask trip advisor to add a 6* rating, once again thankyou to all staff. Tom & Kat

a lovely hotel, quiet location, but a bit isolated , need to get the reliable bus service to Corfu town and Benitses, nice breakfast ( good choice), local restaurants a short walk, but a busy road with few pavements ( not good in the dark), small supermarket very near but limited supplies, views amazing from balcony, very near airport, planes noisier than i thought too, but stop late at night fortunately, the pontoon ( down a large flight of steps) to the sea is lovely and quiet, about 20 spaces for beds etc, but no loo down there

I recently visited the hotel with my husband and 5 month old infant. Like others, I was slightly nervous due to the mixed reviews and it being a new hotel but overall had a lovely experience. The hotel room was a sea front view and one of the nicest views I’ve had in any hotel. Immaculate room and the cleaning staff were always friendly, greeted you every morning, and were excellent at their job. If I didn’t want the room cleaned that day they respected my request. I had requested a cot in prior communications and this was provided no problem. The bathroom was small but modern and tidy. No bath which was a shame as I love them. There were coffee pods available to use but I wasn’t clear how to use them. TV good for new only really. I had dinner and breakfast included with the half board deal. I enjoyed dinner a lot. It varied every evening and mostly delicious. To improve there should be labels next to the dishes and any warnings of allergens. Some dishes were cold so maybe advised to keep lid on. There was something for vegetarians but selection could have been greater. Breakfast has something for everyone and was very very good. The two lovely female waitresses in the dining hall I would like to personally thank. They treated me and my daughter with such kindness and it made the experience all the better. Reception staff were all friendly and helpful. Nice pool with sun beds and loungers. Unlike some reviewers we never struggled for a sun lounger. Andreas at the bar and the other female barmaid very friendly. The hotel is placed conveniently next to a bus stop and a shop. WiFi was great everywhere. Note if you stay anywhere in Perama you’ll likely stay in a flight path zone. I actually didn’t mind this and it was fun plane spotting sometimes. The lifts are very small and it was always a squeeze for me and the pushchair to use. I would definitely stay here again. It was convenient for the closeness to the bus stop and shop, and proximity to Old corfu town.

A fairly new hotel with good and bad aspects! Check in was straightforward. A friendly welcome. This later resulted in somewhat embarrassing confusion. We were handed the room card and told breakfast and dinner included but not lunch however this would be available to order from the pool bar. Brilliant. Came down for dinner to be turned away because we didn’t have a reservation and told that it was not included. Reception retracted from their previous comments and said it was not included. This was bought as a gift hence why I didn’t know myself. Will know for next time. Instant wow opening the bedroom door with views straight out over the Ionian Sea. Bed was comfortable. Thin duvet but also a top sheet. Aircon worked well. No TEA making facilities just coffee pods available. Had to work around this as I love a cup of tea. Bathroom was slightly disappointing always a bad smell from the draining system. Water takes a long time to drain and the floor will be flooded. Bath mat not functional as can’t open the door with it out. Housekeepers do a lovely job and are always available but I was very upset to find that my room had been serviced while we were out which I had already requested for it not to be. I do not like anyone to go through my belongings, ever. So this really upset me and I had to complain to reception. Lots of seating in the restaurant but quite often you will find dirty tables during the busy periods of breakfast and have to wait. Good selection for breakfast however not impressed by the lack of covering. Lots of flys / bugs. Also very surprised that nothing was labelled. No description no ingredients no allergens. I am pleased actually that we did not have dinner included as when we tried it, not great. No cooked items ever hot either. The pool and sea area are nice. Lots of steps down to the sea. Some equipment available to share which was lovely this included an inflatable, some paddle boards and diving mask. Neither lifeguarded. The pool day beds could do with the cover being washed. Nice bar, Andreas made some lovely cocktails and was always very friendly. We did enjoy some pool bar snacks throughout our stay which we could not fault. Location is good. Of course you should see it’s on a flight path so lots of planes passing. There is a bus stop just outside which we made use of and seemed to run efficiently. You can also walk to the sea crossing/ plane view point but you must be careful of traffic. Lots of others doing so but you should be cautious. We later found the hotel has a running and rowing machine as well as a weights area. You might miss this if you don’t have a wonder around. The infinity pool was a nice area, quite private but not good for a view over the sea as the glass panel was not good needed a good clean. The rooftop bar does not exist. Don’t believe the website pictures! There is one room at the top which had a cuddle bed and a hot tub the other side has the foundations to be a rooftop bar but is not staffed/ stocked/ decorated / furnished. Would be lovely to sit up there and have sun all day. There are some lovely separated rooms which have their own egg chairs / pools / hot tubs around the venue if you wanted to have something a bit nicer / more private. I was excited to come here but the communications beforehand could’ve been improved. I wanted to make sure we were not in a room near the lift based on some previous reviews and this was not acknowledged. Fortunately we weren’t but would’ve have appreciated a response. Pictures on the website could also be clearer. I would stay here again but definitely would not have dinner included based on current standards. Other options along the road to eat at as well as a little shop for snacks and souvenirs.

We ( my daughter and I) have just returned from The Ray Hotel in Perema, after reading mixed reviews (mostly good) I was not quite sure what to expect. However we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spotless with the most amazing views and sunrises! We had a room on the 4th floor which was quiet and easy to get to by stairs and lift. There are a few steep steps which lead from the dining area to the decking overlooking the sea but definitely worth getting up early for to get your spot to see the sun rise. Absolute bliss. Yes there are a few planes as you are close to the airport but nothing that would really bother you, in fact it’s interesting to watch them coming in! We had bed and breakfast and can honestly say it was one of the best buffet breakfasts we’d ever had. The pool area is clean but fairly small and the only thing they could improve on would be to add some more parasols - not too many shaded areas which we could have done with when it was middle of the day. Great cocktails at the pool bar and the lunch time menu is excellent and reasonable. The restaurants in Perama are not the best and you are on a main road (which is quite dangerous to walk along as not all of it has a pavement) however we walked across the bridge near the runway to Kanoni to Flisvos Seaside restaurant & also Skyview which were both excellent. There is also a great and regular bus service running both ways out of the village, one way is 15 mins into Corfu town ( about 2€ each way) and the other way about 10 mins into Benitsis. We did this a few times and can recommend Paxinos restUrNt in Benitses- Corfo Old Town you are spoilt for choice, very pretty and pleasant to walk around at night. All in all a great week, lovely and very helpful staff, would definitely go back

We needed a low key relaxing holiday and the Ray Hotel was perfect. Small clean and very comfortable. Lovely atmosphere. Great staff especially Aliki and Mara at reception. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Very happy to help. The night life was calm. Just what we wanted. Andrea's at the bar was fun and friendly. He made the best cocktails and also a great hot chocolate. The location is amazing. Beautiful views. We will be back. Thank you guys for a great vacation. Best wishes. Jill. W (Room 303)

Booked this hotel last minute when Aer Lingus cancelled our flight home to Dublin. It’s a fine modern hotel - great facilities but a little far from Restaurants. The highlights for us were Mara on reception, wonderful warm empathetic girl and Andreas at the Pool Bar, great friendly service. The one thing I suggest the hotel work on is the breakfast - it’s a wonderful diverse buffet but it finishes at 10am. That is a little early for holiday time however what annoyed me was that when we arrived at 9.45 they were in full clear up mode ! As I got my buffet I was nearly run over by a trolley collecting used plates cups etc…and there were no tables set up for guests - I found my own cutlery but had to twice for a cup to use the coffee machine. There’s a fresh orange juicer available which is a nice touch but no oranges - again I had to ask twice. As for the toaster, it just doesn’t toast, 5 times with the same bread and I ended up with “warm bread”. It’s a shame cause the buffet itself was really good - the clearance operation continued and all the food in the buffet was cleared by 10.04 - just the wrong priority, management rather than staff issue, following orders I suspect. We bumped into an English couple at the Bar the previous night who commented on the chaotic breakfast all week which might have biased me a little but… small changes could make a big difference here. All in we enjoyed our port in a storm and a big thank you to Mara and Andreas.

Just returned from a weeks stay at this fabulous hotel. We booked a villa room with a private pool, and I was not disappointed. The pool was larger than expected, the room was perfect. Our room was cleaned twice a day, an abundance of towels and fresh water every day. The bathroom had twin sinks, and a shower room designed for two to shower at the same time … perfect for couples. However, I was on vacation with my 15 year old daughter, so not so useful for us! The bed was large and very comfortable, TV enormous (though it was not used by us), very comfortable sitting area, lots of storage and a sink area, with wine cooler. We had a problem with the wine cooler and within the hour the cooler was fixed. The staff at this hotel were amazing. The maintenance staff, very friendly and were always on site, reception very efficient, cleaners exceptional. The bar is open from midday to midnight and offers exceptional cocktails. Possibly the snack menu could have a wider choice, but the pizzas and burgers are exceptional. The barman on the evening was lovely, very friendly and approachable and made the best cocktails. The breakfast offers a very wide choice and caters for everyone. We had the evening meal on several occasions and the choice was also good. The view from the restaurant is exceptional and looks over the Ionian Sea. This hotel is on the flight path, but it didn’t spoil our vacation in any way. If you like to get out and about, you will need a mode of transport … there is a car/moped hire opposite the hotel. There is a lovely taverna about 5 mins walk, on exit of the hotel turn right and walk 5 mins, you’ll easily find it on the left. There is no beach, but the hotel has its own private decking area, with direct access to the sea. However, if you want a Sandy beach, then this hotel is not for you. All in all, this hotel is a perfect choice for couples wanting to relax and chill and I’d recommend booking a villa room with own pool.

Terrible location. The hotel is situated only 3 km south from the airport and airplanes are literally flying back and forth all the time. The only time when one can sleep without being disturbed is between 12:00 am and 3:00 am since there are no flights during that period. Badly renovated, not only the rooms but the pool as well are much smaller than they look on the photos. There are 20 sun loungers on the beach compared to 51 hotel rooms so one has to compete with other guests in order to get a sun lounger early in the morning. The rooftop bar advertised on the website doesn’t even exist! The staff were not very polite. They booked us a transfer to the airport that never showed up and we almost missed our flight back. The music at the pool bar was very loud and the staff refused to stop it at 12:00 am because “the pool bar shuts at 1 am”!
