A wonderful place to be. The warmth of the building, the wild of nature and the silence all around, make of this place a magical spot for healing, meditation or simply a quiet vacation. You find also a wonderful spa that keeps the herbal healing tradition of the monks, a chapel, a pool. The whole surrounded by mountains with spectacular... More

My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend at San Biagio. We went there in order to get away and relax. The place itself is stunning, sitting in the hills outside Assisi. There is an amazing spa with a hammam and a lovely little chapel that was part of the old monastery where you can sit and enjoy the calm.... More

In the nice countryside of Nucera Umbra, 50 km away from Assisi, you can find an old monastry that now houses a SPA and Wellness hotel. The building, from 1330 has been restored in a very nice way. It is a bit of adventure to reach the monastry but once you are there you can enjoy the view and the... More

I was impressed by the beauty and harmony of the place, the quality of the services and the food, and the quiet joy that overcame me as soon as I arrived. I would definitely recommend it as a ptit stop in your travel around Italy or for a longer, "heal every single part of you" spa experience. Will definitely come... More

Friars really knew how to chose the locations where to build their monasteries on... this place is GREAT. One can still inhale the atmosphere of ancient times in a wonderful, luxurious ambiance. Owner and staff is very nice and helpful, making their guests feel at home and the stay an exceptional one. The beers from their own brewery are an... More

The hotel is in a converted abbey in a fairly remote location. It is decently sign posted out of Nocera Umbra. The final approach is down a well maintained dirt road. The hotel itself is largely a converted abbey. Our room had stunning views of the countryside. No elevator, but not too many stairs. The room itself was adequate and... More

The food was good but we would have appreciated more flexibility at the restaurant. I'm latose intolerant and there wasn't much they could do to accomodate this dietary restriction (must say the waitress tryed and was very helpful though). At breakfast there wasn't much I could eat. On top of that we got food poisoned in Peruggia and their kitchen... More

Parlo italiano ma purtroppo non lo scrivo bene, quindi devo lasciare mio commentario in inglese. Just TRY IT, you will not regret it! The monastery is beautiful and set in a breathtaking landscape, but on top of it, the extreme kindness of the staff and the spa will make you feel in a secluded paradise. We regretted spending only one... More
