A haven in the beautiful Kinabulu Park. The accommodation was incredibly luxurious with stunning views of Mount Kinabulu from the terrace. We stayed in the Kinabulu Lodge which has 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and spacious living space, including a fully equipped kitchen and stunning open fireplace in the lounge. Upon arrival we were greeted by the Sutera team who...

we were upgraded from a dorm to a lodge room, these were large lodges with bathroom and heating ( which we needed). They were good but were quite a walk from the cafe. Due to the small numbers of people staying the cafe was fairly quiet and the food somewhat limited. The guide and organisation were excellent , well organised...

Wonderful birding location on Mt. Kinabalu, We added a Mt. Kinabalu excursion to our Sabah / Borneo trip, at the last minute, to get a chance to bird near the mountain. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that our accommodations would be at Sutera Sanctuary Lodges. The room / suite was spacious, modern, and comfortable. It can actually get...

There were bathrobes, slippers, extra blankets, ironing board and iron, tea and coffee with kettle. Really a nice place. My space heater in...

The room was refreshing and spacious for our small family and it had breathtaking view of Mount Kinabalu in the morning which was majestic and beautiful. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The highlight of the stay would be that the lodge had a fireplace and was lighted in the evening after dinner. The only thing missing was marshmallows and a...

The courtesy, hospitality & services provided are impeccable. Erin, Freddie, Aaron and Sylvia are simply first class. Information provided is sufficient. Food is good. Will recommend new visitors to spend at least an extra day at Park HQ and explore the place... We'll be back.

My son and I had met one of the most caring and genuinely happy staff in our one night stay at this lodge. On the journey back from our 9 hours mountain hike, they go all the way to make us comfortable. Highly recommended to all. Sonny and Dennis Choo
