I'll start with the positives. The view of Mt Kinabalu is spectacular! The bed and pillows where comfortable, gardens well maintained. The staff tried their best, slowly. Only 1 lift was working, the room was shabby, carpet stained, furniture unstable and falling apart, power points non functioning, shower (had to hold or water was cold0 over a very high bath,...

It is such pity that a hotel with such beautiful surroundings can be so badly maintained. Everything is so old. The mattresses gave us back and neck aches. Hope the hotel can do something because the view of Mount Kinabalu from here is probably the best I've seen. We stayed in the hotel rooms. I haven't tried the chalets though....

The hotel was old, rooms was equipped with old furniture and no sound proof system especially when your room is facing the carpark area. We stayed at 7th floor and we can clearly hear people talking and kinds shouting at the car park from our room. Btw, if you intend to take a hot bath, their hot water only available...

This hotel is terribly need to be renovated. The biggest problem that i face during my stay recently is due to the No Hot Water in the room. We never been informed what is actually happening, even when you checked-in, any Hot Water Rationing or what so ever, but don't be surprise when you want to shower at 6 p.m...

The hotel builiding is old..but decently maintained..looks to be 20 odd years....really need a make over..but the name heritage maybe that is why they kept it in an old state... Lobby looks gloomy but well lit...the area around the car park and main bldg is filled with beautiful flowers..worth walking around and taking nice pics...and there is a suspension bridge...

We have been coming to this hotel for many years but did not stay the night. This year, we decided to give it a go. Please remember that this is an old hotel. Their only recent addition are the hill chalets, which require the guests to walk up stone steps. The spa is closed indefinitely, the small canopy bridge is...

Pros - Location is on top of the hill - Clean - The buffet spread is average to good. Cons - Wifi is only available at lobby area - No aircond or fan in the room. (maybe because of the cold weather in the area). - Some of the look out point is closed. Not sure why.

Stayed here for one night. First impression wasn't very "Wow-ed" because of the surrounding. Not very attractive & interesting. Room: Our room was quite ok, clean & neat. Bathroom also no problem. But gets very warm at night if u dont keep the windows open & if u keep the windows open, might just imagine weird thing coming in from...

Just stopped here for lunch and was greeted with very poor first impression. Looks grubby and lacks a welcome. Menu just fast food in a grubby dull room without any of the fabulous views. Disappointed and still hungry! Highlight of this stop is the canopy walk and views of Mount Kinabalu!
