I stayed at this resort in July 2014 with my son. We loved it.. the food was good, the room was cleaned daily ( Rm 2226 ) the resort staff was incredible. Been going to Cayo Guillermo for many years and until september had never stayed at the Melia. This hotel is so much nicer. It is not a new hotel but not at all run down like others. The water gardens are really beautiful, the new beach great. The food is good at all three restaurants. The Italian was my favorite.... More

Stayed here with the boyfriend for 2 weeks. Lovely rooms, the beach was amazing! They cleared the sea weed daily 😀 beautiful views. I'm one for not moaning it was me and my partners first holiday abroad.we saved a lot of money for a year to go to cuba on the 12/10/16..on the 15/10/16 I turned really ill with severe abdominal cramps then following D&V I was up all night with diarrhoea which was green which was quite worrying.but thought it would pass... very friendly and supporting reception. great beach and nice pool area room was large and clean we had just buffet (speciality restaurants available) good quality, freshly prepared looked much nicer than caya coco (we don't know why coco is favorite for some?)
