We experienced two different rooms which were both superb, with views of the bay. There is a huge terrace but nothing to allow privacy for each room's section. Unfortunately there were no parasols provided to create shade which made sitting out in the hot sun unbearable. From the information we had assumed the central indoor lounge was for use by... More

Situated just above the Loredana 4 stars hotel in St Florent, the white Villa a la Vela Bianca deserves definitely at least 5 stars. Modern, open, cosy, with a breathtaking panoramic view from your private bathtub!! The hosts are VERY friendly and helpful. Exactly our style of stay: romantic, exceptional, one to remember..

Stunning view, impeccable house, warm hospitality and very interesting hosts. Amédée, great storyteller, is fountain of knowledge on Corsican history and customs. He can make excellent recommendations on sites to visit, wines to taste and restaurants to sample. It's a place that is hard to leave. Vela Bianca is another beauty for l'île de beauté that is Corsica.

If you find yourself in Corsica, don't miss the chance to stay at Vela Bianca in St. Florent. This calm and serene guest house has wonderful accommodations and a huge terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. Close enough to walk into town (for the many restaurants, port, beach) but away from the hustle bustle. The house is all white, so it dazzles... More

When we arrived at A Vela Bianca, we were very warmly welcomed by Amedee and Maguy, a wonderful Corsican couple, who have the most beautiful home. Our room was clean and bright, with a fabulous view across the sea and we found the bed was very comfortable. The shower room was spacious. St Florent is a lovely town and we... More

A recent stay at A Vela Bianca rated right up there with the best B & B that we have ever enjoyed. The view from our room and the common living room is as spectacular as the photos on line would have you believe. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. The service, really outstanding coddling, by Amadei was as good... More

A Vela Bianca is a fantastic modern house owned by a wonderful couple who warmly welcome you into their home. Saint-Florent is a great port town with easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches (Saleccia!) and the house is located just a few minute drive away from the center. Our short stay at Vela Bianca was the highlight... More

Corsica is beautiful. Saint Florent is picture perfect and A Vela Bianca is the perfect place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted like friends. The hosts speak both French and Italian and could not be more accommodating - we left calling them friends. The home is perfectly positioned, just a 5 min walk from the centre... More

I choose the place for it's competitive rates and for it's views. I was not desapointed, it offers a great value for money. Room and bathroom are minimalist (or simple depending on how you want to look at things) with white walls and wooden floor, leaving the focus to the beautifull seaview through the huge picture windows. Very large terrace... More

“Although I don't like shared bathrooms we did not have a problem with the setup here and the couple that we were traveling with. It is a lovely and very large bathroom with separate commode placement apart from the shower.”
