My wife & I chose the Godilonda because we wanted something special for our wedding anniversary, and the hotel looked great on the website, but not all that shines is gold.... Being a member of the leading hotels worldwide, but also happy to stay in a tent, if the situation warrants it, I have a rounded view of what is value of money.... The positives: 1. Fantastic view 2. My wife and I have just returned from a holiday at Villa Godilonda, the hotel is very quiet and private with superb views,it is very convenient for access to the town which is very pretty. The train station is a short walk away where you can get a train to Pisa and Florence etc very easily, and they run on...
