Detailed Reviews
We arrived here on the 9th Aug 2020 and from the moment we arrived we fell in love what a stunning view overlooking pefkos and the clear blue sea. That was worth the money alone . Checking in was simple and fast which was great so we could get started on our holiday straight away . We had room 110 in block one and the views from the room was like a picture postcard, the rooms are basic but there is everything you need and spotlessly clean . You need to grab a shower before 6pm or water can become cold but that's the only niggle i can say about the rooms . Now let me say this the food cooked fresh and cooked by mama is amazingly good and the price is good too fresh ingredients cooked perfectly and tasting amazing every time . We did eat out in pefkos a few times but the food never compares to mamas food . The bar staff very friendly and always has a smile and willing to help top lad ,the drinks are priced about the same has in town but far far far better . The bar and food area is really nice spotless and lovely to chill in at night with the breeze that passes into the bar area . The owners are on hand every single day with there little girl and my she is adorable, both husband and wife always have time to talk and make you feel really welcome . I could go on and on about this little gem but the best thing to do come and see for yourself its lovely . We loved it so much were booking it for 9 of us next August can't wait and we have not left yet.

We have just returned from ten nights of bliss at this beautiful apartment and grounds. We had an upper floor room in the second block with outstanding far reaching views over the bay.
The rooms are spacious and very clean with a large balcony.
There was a powerful shower and a bath with plenty of hot water.
There is no TV or WiFi in the room but that is a blessing to me as who wants to sit in watching telly or gawping at their phone all night?
The pool was amazing and of a very good size and the bar and restaurant serve delicious food all day, cheers especially to Ody.
We highly recommend Pefkos Blue and will definitely be returning ASAP.
Thanks for a lovely experience

+1
My partner and I have recently returned from an amazing stay at the Pefkos Blue. The hotel is around a 5-10 minute walk to the local restaurants and bars in Pefkos. Yes, the walk is down a pretty steep hill however with the stunning views you get at the hotel, it is completely worth it. Of an evening we would usually walk down and get a taxi back up to the hotel which is priced at 5 euro. Lindos is also around a 10 min drive away and 10 euro in a taxi.
The rooms are pretty basic but have everything you need, especially a really good working fridge freezer and all rooms have sea views.
The hotel has a beautiful bar/restaurant area where you can get the most amazing food throughout the day and evening. It was by far the best food we had all holiday. Odi and his sister who work in the bar area, along with their mum who is the chef, are a complete asset to themselves and to the hotel. The service was faultless and we had loads of amazing cocktails, coffees etc - again probably the best we had all holiday. I don’t think I would have enjoyed our stay at the hotel as much if it weren’t for this lovely area, service, food and drinks we received.
The pool area is great with sun beds and day beds. We were always able to get either if we wanted and it was just a lovely place to relax and unwind.
For arrivals turning up to the hotel past approx 11:00-12:00pm, the reception area is closed and you will be given your room number by the rep and it is also on a board as you arrive at the hotel explaining your key is left in the door. My only bit of advice would be to ensure you have water to get you through to the next morning as there isn’t anywhere around that you can get any very easily. Also if you want aircon, it may be worth messaging the hotel before you arrive to ask them to leave the remote in your room as it is charged at 10 euro a night. Luckily we had the remote in our room when we arrived but I don’t think that was the case for everyone, but I may be wrong.
All in all we had an amazing stay at the Pefkos Blue and would 100% recommend.

The hotel is nice given what we paid and the rooms are very basic and dated but functional however it could be much better with very little extra effort. Aircon is £10 a night but as we had a late flight it wasn’t on so the first night was spent sweating as it was nearly 30 degrees so would be nice to have a complementary night and pay for the rest! They can’t just turn on as no staff are at the hotel after about midnight. Stayed a week and had same bedsheets, two changes of towels and the cleaners do the minimum with no real care for the place. We still had dead insects on the floor that had been there all week, not always left with a spare toilet roll and generally a little grubby. Hot water is limited as 40% were cold so they clearly need more hot tanks on the roof to cope with demand. The pool area is lovely with a good selection of loungers and the surrounding gardens are well cared for but again the pool needs a good clean as months of algae have built up around the overflow to the pool which need a simple pressure wash. Whilst we were at the pool we had a few days of drilling and general building noise which when challenged said it was an issue with the water that needed sorting but it did go on a few days and they are clearly doing building work at the back of the bar area which I think should have been declared to travel agents so holiday makers could choose somewhere else if they felt it could effect their relaxation (it did mine) also had no smoke alarm in room which I only noticed as the base of an old one was still on ceiling which isn’t great given the terrible fires they have recently had on the island. We ate at the restaurant on a few occasions mostly for lunch and I must say, the food was very good and well presented.
If the small things had of been addressed I would give 5/5 so I think 3/5 is fair.
Also just to mention the hill down to Pefkos isn’t too bad with a nice bakery half way down which we used regularly for breakfast/coffees and the essential beer/wine to stock the fridge! Lots of restaurants too in Pefkos itself so plenty to choose from all within a short walking distance. Bus to Lindos is at the top of the road by hotel and runs a regular service for €1.80 each way.
Sort out the small things and it’s a gem of a hotel, but for now it’s just a little frustrating!
Oh and to top it off we went to have a last meal at hotel before coach pick up and they don’t serve food 4-7pm (no information on this!) such a shame so gone further down in my estimations 🙄

What a great find, despite this hotel being at the top of cardiac hill, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We walked down into town but got a taxi back usually around 5 or 6 euros.
The food was amazing and you must try out some of the dishes as you will not be disappointed. We did feel that some of the dishes were a bit overpriced though compared to eating in town.
The rooms are very basic and the showers could do with replacing but this would not stop us visiting this lovely hotel again.
We noticed a few of the big sun beds had the canopy pulled down and not replaced for some days meaning that these could not be used by anyone.
What would make this a better hotel? To have it non-smoking so that we could enjoy a meal without other people’s smoke blowing over! That is just not pleasant at all when you’re eating!
Other than that, the hotel is perfect. We will be back again!

We had a lovely stay for 2 weeks 2nd floor veiws to die for .listed as a hotel/apparments but the hotel bit was a lovely pool area lovely gardens and walk ways restaurant no lobby no reception No advise instructions anywhere of breakfast times and housekeeping. JET2 notice board did not I form us either .we were b&b which was served between 9am & 12 no allowance made for an earlier breakfast or pack up if going on trips !! Must say when we had breakfast it was excellent. It is not self service though so choice was limited. Cleaning non existent in apartments. Bins emptied daily but towels and sheet change hit and miss. Take some antibacterial wipes..essential The water goes off now and then no warning so be mindful . Bus service great on time just out side on the main road .Be careful when walking down to the town uneven pavements.

We booked this hotel as a bit of a cheap and cheerful break in the sun.. what a hidden gem! The hotel is so lovely - the staff are great (especially the bar man, Odie), everywhere is clean and the food is amazing. There were a lot of returning guests when we were there which says a lot. I’d definitely go back! The pool area is relaxed and chilled - no issues with finding sunbeds and the day beds are great.
A couple of pointers… The hotel is at the top of a steep hill (but the views outweigh the hill issues). We hired a car so it wasn’t an issue but the hotel may not be suitable for someone with mobility issues.
Air con is charged separately and to be honest we didn’t think we’d need it so didn’t pay. It was about €20 a day and we felt that was quite costly. I think some travel companies include it and others don’t. Would be nice if it was included for everyone at no extra cost!

What a gem of a hotel and such good value for money - we booked direct with the hotel and flights separately. Also paid for airport transfer and took less than an hour. So firstly the staff are just lovely. Really easy to chat to and work really hard to keep everywhere clean and tidy. For us it was the staff, pool and bar area that made the holiday and they were why we booked. Just the best views of Pefkos from the bar and pool area. Both kept immaculately clean and the food was delicious - we had some breakfasts and evening meals here. Need to mention cardiac hill!!! Absolutely worth the walk up and down just for the views. Yes you can get a taxi but we just put one foot in front of another, told ourselves we could do it and the money we saved bought another two drinks 🤣 Honestly it isn’t that bad although wouldn’t want to do it upwards in the height of the summer temperatures! We didn’t really explore too much as we just wanted a bit of rest and relaxation and we were more than happy to stay around the hotel. Never a problem getting a sun bed in October! We did do a day trip to Symi through Impress Holidays and that was great. Yes, perhaps some of the rooms and bathrooms could do with a little bit of an update but to be honest for what we paid we were happy and spent very little time in the room - our room was cleaned regularly so we were happy. This hotel is one we would definitely return to and we’ll be sad to leave in a few days time.

2nd visit to this charming hotel. Even better than the first time if that is even possible. Home from home experience in beautiful surroundings and the best view ever from the pool, bar and restaurant. The owners and all the staff made us feel extremely welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks to all the Pefkos Blue team x

Our last day sat eating a lovely breakfast and taking in the amazing views. This little hotel is fabulous, the rooms are a little dated and basic but spotlessly clean and all you need. The gardens and public areas are beautifully maintained. The bar and restaurant decor is modern and contemporary and the views over Pefkos and the sea are to die for. Hotel staff are warm and friendly, young waiter guy is very hard working and nothing is too much trouble. Fab cocktails( try the Raspberry it's delicious) and the food is definitely restaurant standard. We will definately return back to this little gem of a hotel. Thank you for a lovely relaxing holiday x

We were here July 2023 self catering, booked independently (not a holiday package) and there was no charge. The remote was given to us at reception.
I went In may 2023 around the 19th and it was about 25° however rained a couple of afternoons but didn’t effect the holiday and we would go in may again
