Broadly concur with HTWales' review - the faded glory of Berck-Sur-Mer seafront/town centre is only a 10-15 minute walk away and offers free parking for those who need it. Would add that the well-equipped pool was better than expected, breakfast was OK if you didn't waste anything, but was limited in choice and so not upto the 4/5 Star standards... More

We were the only guests staying, but were made extremely welcome by Madame. The hallway entry is marble and magnificent. The room was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Breakfast was tasty. Excellent stopover.

What a beautiful home. I would not call this a hotel though. It is more like a bed & breakfast with the owners living in part of the house. Very friendly couple that helped us with anything we needed plus a gorgeous family room for our 3 children. Typical French breakfast of coffee and bread. Only disappointment was that the... More

this villa came very high in trip advisors romantic ratings and as it was valentine weekend we thought lest give it a whirl. first impressions were not too clever as the villa sits on a surburban road behind an electric gate but the smile of madame put us at eqase. on entering i did think it was a little chilly... This was booked for Valentine's on the basis that it was classified as a 'romantic' stay. It was anything but. The stone-floored building was cold. There were 2 radiators in our room but Madame advised us that the temperature for one was fixed at a low heat and couldn't be increased whilst the other would 'come on' later in the... More

Lovely building, lovely rooms, lovely people. The pool is great for swimmers (take your own towels), but has no shallow end or play pool. Breakfast is basic French served in a beautiful dining room. The secure parking in the grounds is a bonus. A 10 minute walk takes you to the lively sea front with a large choice of eating... More

Beck's glory has certainly faded, but this beautiful villa has retained its elegance and charm. Our room was huge, comfortable and well equipped, with a fine collection of books and antiques. The breakfast was simple, but served in a splendid dining room. We were the only guests. It deserves to have more.

The property was built as a grand villa, probably with little expense spared, and retains many of its original features. In particular, the entrance hall which is marble-floored, is fairly grand and impressive. Although we did not get the room we had originally booked [the shower was out of action], the one we were given instead, was comfortable and quiet.... More

We stayed here for one night in Feb 2013. Didn't really know what to expect, but it had good reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. Overall, we were very impressed. Location: it's on Blvd de la France, which is a long residential road leading towards Berck-s-m town centre. There's very little traffic noise, and the house is... More

Very elegant house with a wide, sweeping staircase. The owner met us at the door and was extremely pleasant and welcoming, showing us up to a very pleasant room. It was a shame that there was no bathroom door! Breakfast was quite basic but adequate. It was also good to have the car secure behind electronic gates.
