Stayed here two years ago. Must say the upgrade is 100% better. Matt behind the bar is friendly and welcoming. As for the room it deserves more than the asking price ... would definatly stay again .. great job by all involved :)

My partner and I travel most weekends to visit his children and this hotel happens to be en route, so we decided to do a stopover and at £34 for the night (on a Saturday) we didn't hesitate to book. The hotel itself is fine and as expected really. We had room 18, which had a single bed and a...

Me & my partner arrived at this hotel on Friday 2nd December at approx 6:30pm. We checked in which was fine & quick, when we opened the door to our room we realised that is wasn't right, we had originally booked a double room, as couples do & was given a room of two single twin beds. Both my partner...

Good Morning Mr Fieldhouse. My reply is going to be a long one as it is important that we rectify some of your wrong statements, some of your ridiculous statements and also a couple of your statements which give me huge concern. My first comment and the most important thing to say is that we are not a 4* Hotel...

Awful. Stayed here with a group of friends for one night in October. To be fair, a few of the rooms were ok, but the majority were very tired, the bathrooms were in desperate need of renovation, and we had a mix of shower experiences - some were too hot, some were too cold, very few were ok. No breakfast....

Good Morning Chris. You have just emailed me stating "I arranged a booking at this hotel on behalf of my Golf Society ("Black Country Professionals Golf Society")." When someone wishes to make a group booking (as in this case) that named person accepts responsibility for agreeing the booking terms and for the conduct of that Group. You will be aware...

Just had 3 nights here, visiting family in Burham. Rooms slightly dated but clean & with all working amenities, so was fine. Beds defo hard & lumpy though, so back sufferers be a little wary. Nicely situated for lots of cafes, pubs & local high street. Has its own comfy little bar which we frequented and wifi that also reached...

Booked into the Royal Clarence for just the one night to attend a friend's birthday party at the nearby Ritz Club. Was honestly expecting to find just another run-down and tatty seaside hotel but couldn't have been more surprised! Staff were friendly and helpful and my room was spotless and modern (I assume the hotel has had a recent refurbishment...

Having read mixed reviews was pleasantly surprised. We had a room with a sea view the room was clean towels changed everyday. Hotel in a good position with a pleasant bar and not overly priced. Would definitely stay here again. ,

Bed was very hard and a bit lumpy. Staff were accommodating and pleasant. Location good on the sea front and must be lovely in summer. Good access to town but not much happening in Burnham out of season and mid week. Room was a bit stuffy but was warm and clean.
