A beautiful cottage B&B with gorgeous bedrooms that had everything you could ask for: extremely comfortable bed, speciality tea and coffee, gorgeous chocolates and biscuits and both still and sparkling water. Breakfast was tasty and plenty! Again, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, a full English breakfast topped off with honey, jams and marmite. You have the added benefit of a really cosy sitting room and a pretty garden with some funky looking hens. Many thanks to Anna and Mike for the hints and tips and making us feel so welcome

We spent a couple of nights here while visiting our daughter, who lives in Crewekerne. Lovely room, nice ensuite, well stocked refreshments (including filter coffee). The breakfast, cooked by Mike's fair hands, was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely stay with impeccable hosts. We will be back!

A fine cottage in a lovely quiet village. It is magnificently furnished and very warm and welcoming. The hosts offer every conceivable convenience and give it a really homely feeling. Their hospitality is remarkable! The room is lavishly appointed with a spacious bathroom and first-class shower. Everything is thought through and as a guest I wanted for nothing. Superb and very copious breakfast of top quality. Eggs from their own hens. It is surely outstanding and I would be very happy to stay again.

Thank you Annie and Mike for a lovely stay in your beautiful home. Gorgeous decor, a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble but the attention to detail was fabulous. If you enjoy crisp bedlinen, soft towells, a really comfy bed, luxury surroundings in your own home, you won't be disappointed at Calendar Cottage. The tray in your room won't disappoint either. Lots of lovely details with lovely crockery, vintage cutlery, a vast selection of teas, fresh ground coffee, hot chocolate and biscuity treats. Thank you Mike for your delicious breakfasts-they kept us going throughout the day while we were out and about exploring. Thank you Annie for your tips about the area, they were really helpful. Loved your cats and chickens too! A good location about 20 mins from the coast, so getting around from here was very easy. We will be back! Many thanks.

Another great stay at Calendar Cottage, wonderful rooms with tasteful decor and a luxurious feel. The house is set in beautiful gardens where you can relax and read a book whilst listening to the gentle clucking of the chickens and the tinkling sound of the water coming from the secluded pond. Complete relaxation. Annie and Mike make fantastic hosts tending to your every need, the breakfast was a treat. The Jurassic coast is near for fossil hunting and dramatic walks. A trip to the nearby market town of Bridport is a must for second hand treasure seekers.

Annie & Mike made us welcome in their charming home as soon as we arrived. We were delighted with the lovely, spacious en-suite room overlooking the beautiful garden. No detail had been overlooked on the hot drinks tray and the bathroom was scrupulously clean and well stocked with quality bath products. In the morning we over indulged with Mikes full English too nice! Definite visit again

We are just back from a fabulous, family ( 2 x adults , 1 x10 yr old!) 5 day “staycation“ at the gorgeous Calender Cottage! Mike and Annie are truly wonderful, knowledgeable hosts; very generous with their time ( thks to Annie for helping Alfie to “discover” Antiques & Mike for his his patience Playing Monopoly!)..we were treated lije royalty during our stay and nothing was too much trouble for them. They have a lovely home ( the bedrooms are beautifully decorated, well presented, clean and comfy) and they have a stunning garden where we discovered chickens and a pond full of fish & spent our evenings relaxing with a glass of wine on their lovely terrace! Bliss! Mike’s cooked breakfasts were superb every morning and the variety of different breakfast dishes offered was great too. Can’t recommend it enough! .good value for money too. We’ll definately be making a return visit very soon! Mark, Ali & Alfie...Cobham, Surrey

We had the most wonderful time at the Calendar Cottage last weekend. This was just a short break to see our friends in Dorset and as usual everything was perfect. The Cottage was beautifully decorated ready for Christmas and even though we only stayed for a night we truly enjoyed every detail of this magical place. Thank you dear hosts.
