Nice hotel, great location! Very friendly staff! Room number 215 the best one, with king size bed. Simple, but fresh breakfast every morning. Very clean room with balcony and flat screen. I recommend to couples.

On July 2 just after midnight, we made a last minute booking for July 1 to 2. We picked Dimitris Paritsa specifically because they apparently had a 24 hour concierge and we assumed they would be able to accept late night arrivals. Our booking via a 3rd party site went through and was confirmed for Jul 1-2 but when we arrived at 2am on Jul 2, the security guard said he wasn’t authorized to give us a room because his boss already went to sleep and to come back the next morning. We were stranded with all our luggage and no place to go.

When you’re in the hotel industry, especially in a port town where ships are arriving at all hours of night, it would be great if the hotel is able to accommodate for last minute bookings, late night arrivals, at least a phone number to call if you’re stuck, or to better manage their inventory with third party booking sites. Or maybe the security on duty could have offered us wifi so we could book another place to stay or at least make a call....rather than “come back tomorrow morning”. *sigh*

In the end we found wifi at a nearby bar and called another hotel who actually did offer 24-hour service — the owner kindly woke up and rented us a room.

I had a single night on the hotel, waiting for a ferry the nexr day. A laud back hotel in a quiert street, but central anyway. Room was newly renewed, very clean. Comfy bed, a balcony, small bathroom and a fridge. Flatscreen.
Breakfast simple, but fresh.
Minus was noise from drunken guest two rooms away. But that is what sometimes happens.

Perfect location on Kanari Street. Nothing fancy but it's clean and fresh. Very nice and friendly staff. The rooms are pretty simple but you get what you pay for. Low prices in the bar. Simple breakfast.

What a nice place to stay! Very cozy and comfortable family-run hotel, in a great location in the city center: 3 min walk to the beach, 5 min to the harbor,10 min to the Old town. I recommend, perfect position if you want to easily tour the island, beaches, attractions, city... Near the hotel are restaurants, shops, cafes. Dimitris Paritsa is located in a quiet street, so you can rest well. In front of the hotel is a terrace surrounded by greenery and flowers. Free Wi-Fi on the terrace and lobby.
The owners were so helpful and delightful, they respect guests and treat you as a friend, always ready to listen, understand and meet the expectations and needs of the guests. Ask them for the necessary information, they give you useful advice. All staff are extremely friendly and professional, greets guests with a smile, always available to help.
The room was comfortable, light, functional and well maintained. Cleanliness of the hotel is well above average for its class. I had everything I needed: AC, TV, fridge, hairdryer. The bathroom is small, almost renovated-all new in it. Towels are changed every day, the room was cleaned on a daily basis. Room 115 has a lovely balcony with a view :). Breakfast is basic.
In hotel I stayed 10 days in late August. I was surprised by the quality and location of this hotel with 2 stars, excellent value for money. I liked it a very pleasant atmosphere in the hotele, so I heartily recommend. Dimitris Paritsa will be my definitive choice for the next visit to the island Kos.
