Such a lovely, relaxed, homely place. Very clean. Dara was so friendly and genuine. Felt like we knew her for years. Definately recommend a visit here. Dara's homemade Guinness Bread was delicious and tasty full Irish breakfast! Hope to go back again some day.

On arrival we were met with the smell of lovely home baking and the offer of roasted coffee and fresh sponge. We were attending a friends wedding in Lough Rynn castle and Brooklawn House is a short drive away and ideal for alternative to staying at the castle. Dara is the perfect host; friendly, helpful, fun and a great cook.... More

Enjoyed a wonderful stay with Dara in Brooklawn House. Room and house were great and Dara was an excellent host and I would happily recommend a stay in Brooklawn to friends and family. The house is situated very near Loughrynn Castle and provided a convenient base for the weekend. The grounds are well worth exploring also.

We stayed with Dara for the weekend of our friends wedding. We were welcomed with a cup of coffee and a slice of home made apple tart, and that set the standard for rest of the weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for her - from helping with ironing our shirts to lifts up to the nearby Lough Rynn Castle... More

This is a gold star guest house, the type one would recommend to anyone who wanted a taste of Irish hospitality! Dara is a wonderful host and cook, breakfast is great and the house is just gorgeous. She creates a very relaxing ambience. Would definitely recommend to anyone attending weddings in Lough rynn, or for a weekend break.

Stayed three nights with family over from the UK for a wedding. So glad it wasn't a week as Dara's breakfasts were delicious and I could feel the weight leaping up! Also amazing was the freshly cooked soda bread or banana bread and Dara made us feel very welcome. Our ground floor bedroom was so pretty with lovely antique furniture... More
