We had a brilliant weekend at Castle Bera, the hosts were accommodating and very welcoming. Our safaris were great and we were lucky enough to have several sightings of leopards. Would highly recommend and are planning out return trip already!
Thank cristapper

Castle Bera is all about seeing the leopards. This heritage hotel is rustic and the host is a bit eccentric but very friendly. The staff is courteous. The safari guides are excellent. We went on four safaris, two evening and two morning. We saw leopards each time, except the last. They communicate with other guides in addition to being very familiar with the regular spots the leopards go to. For the morning safari, request blankets if you don’t have something warm to wear. We don’t get cold easily and found it chilly at 5:30am. There are a lot of stairs and this is not an ideal place for anyone with mobility challenges. They will carry all your luggage for you at check in and check out.

Visiting this lovely castle was always on my wishlist n I'm so glad it was completely worth every penny spent!

The castle is simply mesmerizing & in the first place having a humongous room with an amazing terrace is such an amazing idea. The staff here is extremely polite n helpful. We stayed in the castle hotel for 3 nights & indeed it was a heaven on earth experience. We opted for a deluxe room room which was well equipped with all modern amenities. The room was very spacious & it had a walk-in wardrobe with a dressing area.

The host Mr. Baljeet Singh and his son were the best hosts ever. The minutest things were taken care of with perfection.

The safaris were unbelievable, something we cant do anywhere in the world but in Castle Bera from off-roading on mountains to following a leopard for an hour in the midst of forest and mountains and villages. The guides and drivers were very knowledgeable.

The food quality is just amazing. The dining area offers not only great food but also amazing views while dinning. Also the Rajasthani delicacies offered are super tasty. Another restaurant dew offers health & diet cuisine which also worth visiting.

The hotel also had clothing boutique called “Castle Bera Boutique” and the line was fabulous with amazing jackets.

All in all a great experience, amazing and breathtaking safaris with definite leopard sightings, good food n Oberois like hospitality..what more one can ask for on a vacation.

Stayed at Castle Bera during my last visit to Jawai sanctuary. This place is picture card perfect. Hospitality is par excellence. Thakur sahab personally accompanied the guests for leopard sighting. Bar has some good whiskey collection. If around Jodhpur, it’s a must visit

In my considered opinion there is no better place in India, perhaps in the world, than Bera to see a leopard. To add to the ecstasy of seeing the most versatile wild cat in the world is the sheer joy and privelege of living in Bera Castle,of availing of the leopard expertise of Baljeet Singhji and his staff,of enjoying his hospitality and superb cuisine, and what is even more his personal attention, humanity and innate kindness, makes a trip to Bera Castle a wildlife experience without equal in the world. The staff and the field helpers are exceptionally dedicated and trained, and observe rules which are for the benefit of all visitors.
