We had stayed here for 3 nights in May 2019. We had checked in at midnight but surprised to see smiling faces of the hotel employees. Hotel is located very near to the main market area with one restaurant. Rooms are cozy, clean, bed & bath linen were spotless white & of very good quality. Wash rooms were clean with 24 hours hot/cold running water. Mattress was temperature controlled. Our accommodation plan was including breakfast. Breakfast had basic options - Aloo parantahs, toast with choice of eggs, tea/coffee etc. However menu choice were limited for major meals but lots of options available in the locality. Staffs were courteous, Early morning tea used to be served in rooms. Overall we had an excellent stay here. Will certainly recommend to others.

Stayed at the Volga for a night during my visit to Pahalgam. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the main market and has a good view of the entire area. The view is great from lawns which are very well kept and this is a beautiful resort. We had breakfast here, as part of the package, and the options were very limited - in fact, just 3-4 of them. But whatever we had was ngood. I will go on and add that the 'aloo paranthas' that we had here certainly were the best we've ever had (and you can trust me when I say that this is coming from someone who knows what a good parantha is). The staff was courteous, though service could have been quick. All in all, this is a nice property and if you're looking to stay close by to the market, this is ideally located. There are other restaurants nearby so you don't have to depend on the hotel's inhouse restaurant. Didn't use their in-room service much but I heard it wasn't great. They tried to pass of the deluxe room as premium deluxe which I had booked, hence, downgrading rating by a star. Still, considering the other properties around, it is better than most and can be chosen for short stays.

We checked in around 1.30 AM at night owing to curfew and faced no problems in getting into the rooms. With all the anxiety from the journey of Srinagar to Pahalgam at that hour and also with the sudden chilled weather of Pahalgam, the sleep I had in those cozy beds of Volga ( with Electric Blanket) was one of my best. It has a beautiful garden and lawn that is well maintained. Two buildings are there, old and new. Rooms and washrooms are very clean with all needs like hot water, clean towels, wifi ( though signal is not very strong) etc. Food is costly and so we dined in other nearby restaurants. ( Poonam Food near Pahalgam bus stand is a place that I will recommend). The complimentary breakfast they served was good consisting of Aloo Paratha, breads, tea. Staffs are polite and helpful. Overall we had a good time here.
