When we walked up the road towards Oswal Cottage, we couldn't believe our eyes. A pretty sight caught us as the beautiful pansies and daisies welcome us to the grounds. Oswal Cottage is a standalone house with multiple rooms overlooking the pine forests next to the property. We had the most pleasant stay here after spending a night at a terrible hotel in Pahalgam. The caretakers are on their feet for anything you need and made amazing kebabs for a bonfire night we requested for. Rooms are clean and linens are fresh, and the owner Suhaib makes sure you have a good time here. Their wifi is pretty strong too so you can catch up on work if needed. We didnt though :)

Our group of 9 people stayed for 2 night in the while going to Amarnaath. We enjoyed very good nature. We used hotel Kitchen without any interfere of Cottage Management with making of our traditional food.

Loved the location, cannot be compared with the huts available at pahalgam. However I would recommend to make the interior better for rooms, and also bathrooms. Overall amazing place to live for some days.

This is an amazing place behind Hotel Hillton. An hidden jem. I was staying in the single room on the first floor. There was a family room next to my room which was fascinating too, since it has two bedrooms one attached with the other...very good for families with kids. If you are a foodie, this might not be a good place for you. Market is not far, you can take a walk to the market for lunch and dinner. They serve basic lunch and dinner. But yes, breakfast is easily available at the cottage itself. If you are looking for tranquility, this is the place. Even through the sunlight of the bathroom, secluded pine forest is visible. A lone hammock tied to two pine trees, a campfire site- all within the safe premise of the cottage would fill your soul with peace.

We stayed there for 3 nights and the host was such a nice guy with great hospitality. If you're there with friends or family then its the perfect place for you into the woods. Just love the place. I would recommend every one to go and stay there, it feels like home

This is a beautiful cottage surrounded with trees and no caterings of hotel. It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. Have never had a bad experience and it’s only 1 KM away from Main Market so you can walk to everything..

One of the most beautiful cottage. The place is cozy and awesome, with so many thoughtful touches. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cottage. It is extremely comfortable with stunning views , in fact everything that you may need during your stay is provided by the room service and it is located nearby main market.

Beware! The owner of this property is highly unprofessional and acts crazy. I confirmed my bookings 2 weeks in advance through a booking site where you can block the booking and pay a couple of days before reaching the property. The booking got confirmed and the website clearly mentioned no prepayment required. This guy WhatsApped me asking for prepayment. He was not only unethical but also ill mannered . He said “People like you cancel the bookings at the last minute and I end up paying the website.” He threatened stating either you make the payment now or you better cancel the booking. Never ever stay at such proprty.

I am sorry Anupriya, but you are misleading our customers. When you book through booking.com, they clearly mention that the property can approach you for prepayment, I guess you should have read the details carefully. Once the guests give us 50% of the price that is when we confirm the booking from our side. We have a lots of visitors waiting, and some guests cancel at last time and this results in our loss. Taking prepayment ensures us that either the customer will visit or atleast we can deduct some amount for them not coming amd return back the rest. We also give an official receipt at that time.
