The Pahalgam Pines is located a little up the hill. Front facing room on 1st floor is the best. The food is simple and delish. Aadil, Azhar, Ayaz and Sameer were very helpful staff members. I would love to go back and stay there again. The rooms offer electric blankets. Kashmiri Kawa is yummy there. The place is quiet and truly gives a hilltop dream huse feels. It's just a 15 min drive from the city center/market.
We stayed for 2 nights in the premium family room and it was a very comfortable stay for our family. Breath taking view from the room and the balcony. Staff was very helpful. Food was good. Full points to the hospitality. Highly recommended ..Rooms, Food, view , location!!!!
We were two couples and stayed for 3 nights at Pahalgam pines and had booked two adjacent rooms on the first floor. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities including room heaters and electric blanket warmers. Washroom was clean and hot water was available when we required. We had complimentary breakfast and dinner included with our tariff. Food could be requested to be served to our rooms neatly packed or we had to go to the dining area and was served as buffet of 5 items for each of the meals. During our stay we had none of the items repeated so it is safe to say they have quite a variety of spread. All the dishes prepared were tasty and well cooked. The dining room was also tidy and hygienic. The best part of Pahalgam pines is the owner Mr. Sarwar and his team who with all smiles provided us with untiring services and top notch hospitality. Mr. Sarwar is a helpful man who had perfect suggestions for where to dine and where to visit. He generally stays with his family at Srinagar but sometimes stay at Pahalgam Pines for a couple of days and we were lucky to have met him. Pahalgam Pines itself provides with a non negotiable rate chart for car rentals from taxi stand to visit Betaab, Aru, Chandanwari. Tariffs ranged from 2000 to 3500 depending on the car you choose and number of destinations. If you plan to visit them then you have to mention it at the reception of Pahalgam Pines and they will arrange for it as no private taxi or cars are allowed to those places and only taxis collaborating with respective hotels are allowed. Even to ride upto Baisaran, Deno we booked ponies right from the hotel’s doorstep but here you have to put all your haggling skills to use. From the frontal rooms of Pahalgam Pines you can see the valley and the hills covered with snow at the peaks and pine trees at their base. Pahalgam itself is very scenic with the Lidder river flowing through the town and there are numerous picturesque places to visit around. The market place is about a 5 miniute drive from Pahalgam Pines. The property has a small lawn infront where also you can have a cup of tea or even enjoy breakfast while basking under the sun if the weather permits and even kids can play there. The property has a private parking to accommodate 5 cars (consider all SUVs) easily for those who are planning to drive their own car or use a self drive rental. The structure of Pahalgam Pines blends perfectly with nature as it seems to be a cottage nestled on the hilly slopes. The only flaw - as it is a 2+G storied so it does not have any lift but the stairs are not steep. It might be a bit problem for elderly people specially for those who have knee problems. But am sure the staff and the team at Pahalgam Pines would surely help you to their maximum extent.…
It's a good property with great view beside the Lidder river....food is like home made... staffs were polite and they try hard to satisfy you...👍👍👍Rooms are clean and the view from the top floor is awesome..hotel is located far from the 'chahel pahel' of market area...🙂🙂
We stayed in Pahalgam Pines in the first week of April. Excellent property, compact with about 15 rooms. Excellent location about ten minutes away from main town, surrounding by snowcapped mountains and river Lidder flowing close by. One can see the sunrise and hear the chirping of quaint mountain birds in the morning. The staff is very helpful, owner Mr Sameer is young and ready to help. He even offered to drop and pick us up from town as our car had gone for service. They have room heaters and electric mattress, and serve excellent dinner and good breakfast. I would recommend it and would like to stay there on my next visit..
Well priced despite the rush and the good thing about this hotel is that it justifies the cost with its service and amenities, unlike other few properties in gulmarg and srinagar. The staff is warm and hospitable, though the breakfast and dinner was limited, the food served was top notch. The room heater and electric blanket is available, so is the warm water in bathroom. These are bare minimum if you are visiting Kashmir during winters, and it's worth mentioning because to our shock many 3-4star lack these basic amenities. Property was clean, quick service and has amazing views from the windows.
We stayed at Pehalgam Pines in late March. The view from the hotel is mesmerizing. Snow capped mountains, pine trees and the flowing Lidder river is the picture perfect postcard view offered from your rooms. The location is around 2 kms away from the main pehalgam market. This adds high value for travelers who want to be away from the hustle bustle of the main market. Mr Sarwar , the owner and his son samir took great care of us to ensure a seamless relaxing stay right from the hotel reservation point to the departure point at their hotel . Mr sarwar is an excellent host who has a sound understanding of his guests. All your local travel can be sorted from your hotel itself. Infact, Mr sarwar was kind enough to take us around in the evening to the local Mamleshwar templle. The staff are well trained and punctual. Highly recommend this hotel as it is friendly on your pocket for the views and service which it offers.…
Mesmerising View...Amazing Hospitality...Staff was brilliant and helping ... Food was great .. specially made chicken yakhni was mind boggling ...very close to market...owner was super sweet after everything was closed gave us ride from market to hotel....did everything at the best to make our stay comfortable and memorable and super nice....Best kahwa and pink tea served...must must visit ...mm
Located amidst the mountains and very close to the Lidder river, this hotel is a perfect choice for the nature lovers. The hotel team made great efforts to make our stay comfortable, despite the extreme cold they saw to it that our room was sufficiently warm and we had enough warm water in the bathroom too. Very sober and polite staff
This is a very rustic looking hotel with all the amenities that we found in Pahalgam.. it's very close to Betaab Valley making commuting easy.. we were lucky to meet the owner, Mr Sarwer himself who took our stay to another level.. He also drove us down himself to the market on a late evening for dinner and also brought us back safely since he was unsire if we could get a vehicle at that hour.. the hotel staff Aiyaaz and Muzamil were extremely helpful and friendly. Thankyou Mr Sarwer and Pahalgam Pines for a memorable stay nd we sincerely hope to stay in touch and come back again.
