The hotel room, facilities, premises and food were very good. However, the waiters started pressurizing us to checkout since 10 a.m in the morning although check-out time is only 12 noon. They were forcefully getting inside our room without permission saying that they have come for clearance which was scary. They also demanded more tip for taking the luggage to the car. Waiters seem to be ruling this place!

Kashmir its a real paradise and Himalayan Hill resort is like a cherry on the top .beautiful views, lovely area,, ahh what a peace.. some things to keep in mind its a boutique hotel. very clean and neat. lovely cozy wooden rooms with electric blankets. excellent staff very helpful people. this hotel does not have lift .. its a 4 floor building. amazing food. excellent choice on breakfast and dinner. the view is to die for, big lawns to relax and enjoy the amazing snow capped mountains. opposite the hotel is a river which flows you can just cross and go there and its beautiful..

This was our first visit to pahalgam but after meeting the owner Riyaz bhai of the hotel Himalayan hill resort it didn't seem like it was our first visit. His personal attention made our stay worth every penny. Riaz bhai is a very gentle generous person. The hospitality provided by him and his entire team was awesome.. cannot be described into words.. Before we arrived our room heaters were on and room temperature was made comfortable fit us The room was very cozy with proper heating facility, heating blankets, blowers and 24 hrs hot water. Service boys Ashiq and Shahid were too good. The food served to us was yummy..( Panner butter masala) We enjoyed every moment of the stay.. the view of the mountains with the sunshine the moment you open your eyes.. it's a must stay place..

Nice room but flushing system in bathroom quite bed. Rooms are very good friendly staff. mountain view from the hotel is good for summer season but for winter it's not good as its nearly 20 km away from the city. For Rafting this hotel was good. Room heater available in all rooms and electrical blanket was given also. Food quality was good.

Excellent small hotel with personal touch in a beautiful surrounding over looking river and mountains. Also next to start of the rafting point. Clean comfortable rooms - decent size with all amenities including coffee making facility, heater, porter service. But most importantly very friendly staff and hotel owner Riaz is very well connected to local establishments including local service providers. Hotel has a small restaurant and chef went out of his way to satisfy our unique vegetarian cuisine. Due to poor weather conditions we eventually ended up going to Amarnath cave by helicopter leaving us 3 extra free days which he organised a tracking trip for 4 of us via Aru Vallley to Lidervat and Kolahi glaciers. It was magical to be in with nature in tents overnight where food - all freshly prepared and all other necessities were taken care of by our tracking guide. I highly recommend this hotel - couldn't have asked for more friendly and trustworthy worthy person & staff in a region which media has painted to be dangerous and to be avoided.
