We went here for lunch, ordered a curry and rice. The food was okay but resulted in two days of upset stomach for both of us. The table cloths were filthy and the waiter couldn't seem to take the hint to leave us alone. He kept on coming up behind one or other of us and whispering stupid things. A...

We had a wonderful experience at Jasmine villa, Harbarana Inn. We were four female travellers. The villa was spacious, the bedrooms were comfortable with air conditioning and the toilets were clean with hot water. The meals were simple but tasty. A special mention must be made of Mr Karunatatne who took immense trouble to make our stay a memorable one.

I walked into this hotel and was greeted promptly. I ordered chicken curry but it was so much more than that. It was very good value for money. 500sr. I had two types of rice ,chicken popadoms, pumpkin, aubergine, chick peas and more. And bananas. The service was excellent.

We chanced upon this wonderful place and had the most delicious dinner, the best we have had in Sri Lanka so far. Thilaka and her husband made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They even gave us delicious breakfast for the next morning for us to take up lion rock. The food was so yummy, amazing...

We stayed 2 nights in one of the small houses that Habarana Inn rents under the name "Saffron Nest" (just on the other side of the road). Comfortable (AC, wifi, hot water, fridge), good value, suitable for 4 people. Food was tasty and copious. Thilaka and her husband were lovely and did everything they could to make our stay more...

The place has a very nice garden where you can birdwatch from your own porch. The owner is very helpful. Rooms are ok, they are not fancy but for the price they are fine. Habarana is a small town from where you can easily visit Dambulla, Sigiriya and other interesting places. The bus stops very close from the door and...

if you can get room 1 or 2 which are in a separate bungalow in the garden it's a very good deal considering the affordable price, you have your own little terrace. rooms in themselves are what you can expect for this price, not super clean but functional. The main building has somehow a nice atmosphere of decaying grandeur. The...
