As others have said, what a gem, and I completely understand how some people would come here to unwind for a week. The grounds are beautiful, and I loved the door to the sand dunes on the side of the garden. Paru is a wonderful host, and made us feel very welcome. Dinner and breakfast were a treat. Both meals...

The town of Ouled Driss has a problem of water shortage so there are many dead palm trees in the sand and we arrived here during a sand storm so it was a not to be missed but very strange and eerie feeling! Dar Paru lies behind the small town of Ouled Driss, take the gravel road just across Café...

Dar Paru is a wonderful little guesthouse right on the edge of the Sahara. Beautifully designed, it stands in an oasis garden from which a door leads straight out to the dunes. Magic!
