We had the great fortune to choose this Bed & Breakfast as a base for visiting family and friends over Christmas. The welcome we received was wonderful and we very much enjoyed and appreciated the warm and relaxed atmosphere that the owners have created. Our room was very comfortably warm without being stuffy. There never seemed to be an end...

Gorgeous little hamlet with circular walks right from the door. Landhaus Fay is spotlessly clean and quite modern, with tasteful Alpine touches. I had Room 4 - great views on two sides over village. Immaculate en-suite with walk-in rain shower and a bath so big you could cross a lake in it. Plentiful storage space and large TV, not used....

We had a wonderful family break here in the summer. Our bedroom was beautiful and Mark & Nicky couldn't do enough for us. The area is breath-taking, we found some fantastic beach areas around the local lakes and the town of Bad Ischl is a lovely place to spend the evenings eating and drinking - the ice cream shop was...

This is indeed a gem. A lovely house, with breathtaking views, in a village above the charming town of Bad Ischl, in a region full of beautiful mountains, lakes and villages, many within easy reach. The accommodation is wonderful. I set a lot of store by cleanliness and efficient plumbing and they were both impeccable - one could have eaten...

Yes, I know. Heidi lived in the Swiss alps, not the Austrian foothills. But that's the best way to illustrate the tucked away nature of this quiet B&B. It's located about 10-15 minutes outside Bad Ischl on a very narrow country lane. It took us awhile to located the right road out of town but once we found it, there...

What a lovely hidden gem, in a quiet location with superb views, only a short drive to so many lovely sights and attractions. We had an amazing weekend, Nicky and Mark are a wonderful couple who gave us a warm welcome and were full of useful information so we got the most out of our short break. Comfortable clean room,...

Myself and my boyfriend visited Landaus Fay in August and couldn't have stayed anywhere better for a bit of rest and relaxation in the middle of our month long trip around Europe. To start, Nicky and Mark were brilliant hosts and we would agree with a earlier review that nothing was ever too much to ask. The B&B itself is...

Our family of four visited In July, we came to Austria in search of a relaxing holiday break and we certainly found it! Landhaus Fay is located in the small, former salt-mining village of Perneck, its a rural idyll with colourful floral displays and stunning views of the valley and wooded hills. Bad Ischl is five minutes by car, a...
