After 11 years in Mexico, my wife and I have finally made it to a Mexican beach and we chose Celestun and the Casa Celeste Vida for the occasion. What an inspired choice that turned out to be. We spent four nights at this gem of a beachfront house and loved every minute of it. We were not looking for...

Our second stay here with Karen, Kenn, Wanda, the dogs and the cat. Great hosts, always helpful with suggesting restaurants, arranging bird watching tours, recommending places to buy groceries. Nicely decorated, comfortable casitas with lots of nice touches (kitchenette, refrigerator, drinking water, beach towels, rechargeable flashlight, night lite in bathroom, first aid kit, reading lights by bed, ceiling fan, screened...

We spent 4 in early April nights at the Celeste Vida after a few days at a resort in Cancun. We absolutely loved every bit of our stay. Wanda and Karen go out of their way to ensure their guests are well taken care of, and can provide all sorts of information and suggestions for the area. The Casa is...

This is a nice spot-- a beachy experience without being resortlike. A house more than a hotel. The rooms are nice and the beach is right there. It feels sort of secluded, being toward the end of town, so if you like being around others on the beach, that's not this. It's quiet, though the sweet but barky dogs may...

Very nice location right on the beach. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and with a kitchenette, there was also the possibility to use a larger kitchen equipped for cooking. The beach is only a few meters away and there are hammocks in the backyard. Would really recommend this place and will come again if...

Great place to stay in a really neat little town. There is enough to do here in and around Celestun, The hosts have a bevy of information and the best guides to use to see the flamingos, the giant white pelicans, the mangroves, etc. Or you can do nothing but lie on the beach, swim, read! I highly recommend this...

Casa de Celeste Vida is one of the most impressive and outstanding locations anyone could visit. Kenn, Karen and Wanda make your stay just as you would like it and the grounds are beautiful. In our opinion the white sand beaches are superior than any other we saw in our two weeks in Mexico and the people in the area...

We returned to the Casa Celeste Vida after 10 years with a group of friends. What a beautiful oasis it has become. Great rooms with their own kitchens, but we enjoyed the shared kitchen, excellent hosts Kenn, Karen and Wanda! The breezeway is a great place to gather, the lounge chairs and hammocks add fantastic visiting place and the ocean...

It's thanks to Trip Advisor that we ended up coming here - all the good reviews are true! We were staying in Merida with relatives and making day trips to ruins, etc., but wanted a little beach time before heading back to the cold. This sounded like the perfect place and it was. Welcoming owners, peaceful, lovely. We had only...

Beautifully designed building and grounds! Suites are self sufficient with option of breakfast provided at reasonable cost. We stayed in apartment and friends stayed in other suites. Access to an outdoor kitchen for the group was an awesome extra! Hosts are very accommodating and provide great insight/direction of available services in nearby village and area tours, even made arrangements for...
