A no frills place with a friendly ownership (but don't try to distract them from their meals because they don't have a formal reception). Quite clean although it could probably do with a fresh coat of paint at some stage. A bit pricey for what you get, compared with some of the other Yucatan hotels I stayed at. The title...

Rooms are a bit dark, mufly, old and run down but the elderly couple does their best to keep it in shape. As I have to regocnize the price I would say it's OK, but overall not a good stay. For 1 night acceptable. Street is quite noisy.

By asking on arrival, we got the room on first floor by the patio. Room had wifi, aircon, and satellite TV. Although basic, it was clean and we found the beds comfortable enough. Water pressure pretty poor, but hot water reached the shower if you were patient enough. As others have already commented, the plus points are price, location, and...

Don't stay here if you value your sleep. Scooters and motorcycles without mufflers cruising the dirt road/street in front of the hotel all night. Dogs barking all night. Children playing in the street all night. And the A/C sounds like a jet engine every time it starts up. View from the patio just shows a pile of trash across the...

The up-side to this hotel is the very friendly service by the owner and the location, one street behind the beach and an easy walk to restaurants. The average was the decor, very "Holiday Inn" circa 1970s. My issue was with the sleep quality, I could honestly care what a hotel looks like since I'm there to sleep and want...

So, this is no all-inclusive, high end kind of a deal. But neither is the price! We loved the proximity to the beach (aka on it), the rural aspects, and the helpful owners. We went for the flamingos but received far more experiences than expected!! I watched a woman feed her horse next door, didn't need an alarm clock thanks...

We stayed at Posada Lilia Jan 28, 29 2014. The accommodations were very clean and the owner, Enrique Solis, went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Immedicately upon our arrival he came into each room, turned on the television, started the air conditioning and turned on the refrigerator. The rooms had what we needed - bed,...
