Decided for a change from the usual restaurants we frequent, to give this place a try. It is part of the Institute of Tourism Studies in Macau. We chose the five course tasting menu at MOP 350 per person (min 2) and all courses were excellent. Good choice of Portuguese wines at affordable prices. Only slight criticism was that there...

Good quiet environment away from the casinos and the heat of the city. Difficult to get to even by taxi as most of the drivers are reluctant to go there. Rooms are ok but need some renovations and the decor is a bit worn already. However the facilities are clean and the most valuable of all, the staff, are always...

If you want to be in the midst of the glitz and action of the casinos, Pousada de Mong-Ha is not your hotel. If you want a very nice quiet hotel next to a park, this could be your place. The hotel and adjacent dining room are run by the Institute for Tourism Studies as a working laboratory for their...

Hotels is located on the mid-level of Mong-Ha hill, needs to take either taxi or walk up for 5 mintues from foothills. No casino available as it is more like an educational purpose for student to practice in handling customer requests and front desk formalities. Clean and casual, and good for solo traveller, where I can enjoy quiet situation, moreover,...

I stayed in Mong-Ha from 30 April - 2 May 2016. This is my third time there. This is a quiet place, far from noisy people. I have given a very high rate to the staff members. Though they are students, the standard of their service is 5-star. One can feel that they serve by heart. I share the same...

Posada means a place of repose and that is exactly what Pousada de Mong Ha is. From the warm and nothing is too much trouble greeting when you arrive to the delicious homemade yoghurt and bread and breakfast this is a place to regain your strength before you start out to tour beautiful Maucau. The number 25 bus at the...

Some may complain about the location being not very central, but I found it great. It's quiet and you really get to see the local life. Rooms super clean, staff (who are students from the Tourism Academy) are friendly and always willing to help. The Educational Restaurant is also a delight. I loved the jam & honey at breakfast. I...

This is a quiet part of Macau, near to wonderful Chinese temples and the Guia fortress and lighthouse. The reference to 'en cocotte' is to the baked breakfast eggs with spinach, ham and/or fish. A delicious alternative to the standard buffet breakfast. En cocotte also refers to the lovely hill clad with trees, bushes and gardens that surrounds the Institute...

Stayed here twice and I am glad to say that both times, I've had great experiences here. Great interior decor and very good breakfast. Staff was helpful and polite, and always eager to please. The location is a bit out of the way, and being situated on top of a small hill, it can be a bit of a challenge...
