the best thing about this hotel is, you can request for a room facing the lake and see the cybernetic fountain show. in macau, we liked the cybernetic fountain the most. the hotel is good for macau standards. though the bathrooms could be cleaner. the rooms are spacious and staff is all right .

Hotel is so smokey. The management should at least have the lobby fumigated in the evening. As soon as you pass the lobby and go up to our room, I had to wash my hair.My shirt smelled and it feels like I had been smoking myself. The room looked nice. As soon as my husband and I opened the drapes, there...

The hotel lobby is filled with smoke and floor is oily. Service staff is polite and helpful. The room is small but compensated by comfortable bed and the bed in the twin room is bigger then most other hotel. However, for the same rate, I believe, travellers would be able to get other better hotel that is less known.

Staff at this venue have lost whatever service ethos they may (or may not) have been trained in. Tell tale signs I observed were: bartenders too busy drinking with their buddies to serve customers, omelet chefs MIA from the breakfast line, concierges opening envelopes left in will-call, business center staff not sure what a 'browser' was, a shuttle bus reported...

I usually only stay in IHG hotels, so I thought I would give HI Macau a try. Good location for those who want to be in the city centre. Used the complimentary transfer from the pier (caught the ferry from HK) and although convenient, the driver was indifferent and was finishing his morning snack while we waited for more passengers....

The hotel stinks of smoke, the rooms are VERY dirty... Very... they did renovations but the beds are very hard! Chinese prefer it that way, but other hotels for the same price have better mattresses. The indoor pool is not filtered well. Rundown rooms. I was afraid to touch anything. If you are paying more that 60 dollars! Find another...

We stayed one night in the Holiday Inn with two children and two adults. The hotel is part of a large building but probably owned by other parties. I think the hotel is renting some floors inside. Basically the hotel is not looking particularly nice from the outside, but the room is ok and relaxing. The pool in particular is...

Great location for downtown macau, but a bit pricey when you see what is available when you get there.Good restaurants nearby, look for locals eating inside, and seven eleven nearby for essential supplies, beer, snacks etc..hotel breakfast a bit pricey ,international restaurant round the corner(McDonalds).Or Chinese available over the road.

We stayed at the hotel for one night as we wanted to visit Macau from Hong Kong. The free shuttle between the jetboat port and the hotel was convenient. The hotel is old and definately needs a refresher. The front desk service is nothing special. They tend to be wrapped up in other things to be willing to help out...

My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn during our first night in Macau. We chose it because of its brand recognition, but soon discovered that this hotel really has nothing to do with the Holiday Inn international franchise standards, except for the same name. The staff is apathetic to your requests for the simplest of standard hotel procedures....
