My husband and I wanted to get away form the noise of the city. Rockwater resort is the place to do so. If there isn't construction going on across the street, unfortunately that was the case on our trip. The Tent houses are a very neat experience and comfortable but we do think this place is a little bit over...

Ideal locale for a destination wedding. Views from rooms and from Wedding location were beautiful. Resort clean and comfortable. Food both at the restaurant and for the wedding was excellent. Staff were friendly.

Definitely a recommended spot. You have to stay in one of the tents. They are absolutely gorgeous and it's something different. You can open your patio door, lay on the bed and just listen to the waves. It's extremely relaxing and calming. My husband and I went for a mini honeymoon after our wedding. This was the best way to...

We stayed in a Lodge room, and I use the word "lodge" laughingly. It is really just a motel. The room had the smallest dated bathroom, and was in need of a new paint job and updated decor. Don't look behind the nightstand! The only positive were the beds and bedding. New and very comfortable. Food was lousy. Staff were...

We went to celebrate our anniversary and chose it following the recommendation of a friend who honeymooned there. We splurged and booked a tent-house suite. I was very surprised to get a follow-up email suggesting that for $50 more we could have a full view ocean tent. I replied to management that I felt miffed by this nickel-&-dime upcharge tactic...

Just went on a business retreat with 8 others. Based on reviews I was expecting a top notch resort, its not. We had 2 rooms in the lodge and cabin #1. Rooms are very dated and not much effort has been put into making things look good. For instance, TV mounted on wall with cables dangling down the wall to...

My daughter did the elopement package and we did the honeymoon package. We upgraded to tents 63 and 59 to be closer to the water. Breathtaking views and it did not resemble roughing it in a tent in any way. The boardwalk .5 km hike and stairs were a bit difficult for those with mobility issues but staff was very...

I went with a girlfriend and stayed a cabin on the water. It was pleasant but the main resort looks a little run down and our cabins were comfortable but basic. This is OK but I don't think there is good value for money at this location. I would recommend a bed and breakfast over this hotel.

Glamorous Camping in tent suites: novel concept for those of us from the east coast. Waking up in freshest air, turning on heated floor & propane stove after a luxurious sleep, watching deer frolic in the woods beside you... There can be mixups or errors in booking reservations: call 2 weeks before arrival to check that nothing has changed with...

We stayed in one of the tent suites. The view was absolutely fabulous. The staff was most helpful with luggage as the most distant tents are .5km from the parking area. The accommodations were excellent. The beds couldn't have been more comfortable. Room service was always prompt. The restaurant had excellent food and service. We had a daughters wedding here...
