I stayed here for a month. No matter the day or time, there were ALWAYS friendly faces, helpful staff and immaculate surroundings. The staff are always pleased to help and offer suggestions or find a way to make your stay the best possible one. The breakfast is offered with six different meals that are all amazing. The kitchen at Jali is the best on the island!!! All the expat travellers here name it as their favorite and with good reason. Their Penang Curry and Creamy Cajon Mushroom Ravioli were indescribable 😊 I can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We've been travelling through Europe and Asia for a few months and this has been our favourite place so far. The room was gorgeous, outside shower and bathroom which was ace, loved showering outside. Mini bar reasonably priced, replaced and free bottles of water replaced during turndown. Towels and pool towels provided, hairdryer all provided. Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste all provided. Air con great. Sun loungers provided outside next to room. Long pool which is very regularly rescued of leaves but it's nice to swim amongst the flowers anyway. All of this was great, however the 2 best things about Jali is the staff and the restaurant. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly lovely and friendly, at all times. The restaurant is described as best restaurant on the island and having ate breakfast (included with stay), lunch and dinner for majority of our days there, we would concur that it's amazing. Cakes also amazing. We also used the laundry service. I keep thinking of more positive points because honestly the stay was sooo good. Thank you so much Jali :)

Our stay at Jali Resort was amazing! The staff was very friendly, the rooms great and the food wonderful! The rooms were very beautiful and clean. The breakfast was truly the best and the whole restaurant served the most amazing food in Gili! (Their cakes are truly heavenly <3) The hotel is in a short walk from the beach but it only makes it better as it provides some relaxing peace and quiet. If you don't want to walk to the beach you could always use the free bikes the hotel offers. Our stay there was amazing and we will definitely come again. I definitely recommend it :)

I have nothing bad to say about the stay here. From the minute we arrived to when we left everything was perfect.
The resort is positioned a little back from the main road so it’s nice and quiet but an easy walk or bike ride to all the restaurants on the beach.

Great hotel in a quiet area with very popular restaurant on site. Very close to the beach and great/plentiful bikes available to use for free.
The room was spacious and bright with a partially open bathroom. I though I’d get eaten alive by mosquitoes but actually didn’t get bitten (a miracle in itself!!). Pool towels provided in the room and I enjoyed reading on the loungers outside the room. Pool was gorgeous too with beautiful trees overhanging it which dropped the odd flower into the pool, making it even more special.
I was a little hesitant about our room being so close to the popular restaurant but this never became any problem at all.
Breakfast menu a little limited in my opinion but it was free and the food was great. Ate twice in the restaurant and very impressed each time. Lovely buzz in the restaurant too.
Last thing to mention are the wonderful friendly staff who we enjoyed meeting.

It was my second time stay at the Jali Resort and feel like coming back home. When we arrived the waiter serve the fresh juice for welcome drink, probablyJali is the only resort that offers fresh juice for welcoming their guests. The room is clean and very comfortable, the food is great and it’s service is excellent. Jali is recommended place to stay

The food here was lovely. We really enjoyed the included breakfast and the restaurant seemed pretty busy in the evenings.
The pool was great. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The outdoor bathroom was nice, except when a friendly mosquito was circling.
It was a fair way from the boat drop off point (when hauling luggage) but I suppose there are the carts if you like.

Loved my stay in this hotel, and would recommend for the relaxed vibe and picturesque pool. The food was exceptional.
Just a short walk from turtle beach, and you can rent (poorly-maintained) bicycles. Could do with a few more drinks options.

We are a family with 2 teenagers, 1 being a vegetarian. Food at Jali is simply delicious, even with the slightly limited options due to covid. The cakes are as divine as always and the mix of thai, malaysian, sumatran curries as well usual vietnamese and thai fare, just keep us coming back. Rooms are still very well maintained comfy beds good ac and fan all next to the pool. staff are genuinely amazing, friendly and helpful to a fault. bikes are free and well maintained. We very highly recommend and will be back ... oh breakfasts have a wide range of foid and are also a large part of why we come back!

Everything about this stay was great. Rooms were spacious and clean with good air con. Bathroom was semi-open which was nice. Breakfast and Dinner in the restaurant was the best food we had on the whole island and even the cocktails and desert were very yummy! Staff were so nice especially Yudi who helped us with any queries we had. Would recommend this stay to anyone.

It took us 15 minutes of slow pace walk to get there from the harbor (where fastboats drop you). You can ask the hotel to send a horse cart but seeing the condition of the horses on the island, we decided to walk instead.
No, they didn’t rent gear. Ask for a recommendation for gear/classes.
All the scuba places seem to be on the beach front near where the boat drops you on the island.
There are more places to choose from in the Gili Trawangan area.
