This hotel is a clear marker of what’s wrong with the (corporate) mindset in Ibiza city. “Most visitors probably won’t return so let’s ask exorbitant amounts of money for mediocre service and products.” Rotten single pane windows, front door made of cardboard, smelled of cigarette ash, always noisy, always hot, dirty and stained bathroom, bed is too small (I’m 1,82m), food crumbs everywhere when I entered the rooms, cigarette burn marks on the bed sheets. Towels and WiFi were ok though. The locations is great, it’s just so sad that PlayaSol refuses to invest in a much needed renovation. Instead, they ask top prices for dirty, old and broken rooms because people will come anyway. I will try to avoid playasol hotels in the future. A corporate mission based on greed is probably very profitable, but not very durable.…
Hotel is few meters away from the seaside and beaches, also close to the center and the airport. Taxi to the airport costed us 13 EUR. The hotel is basic but clean and the staff was very friendly. We had only a fan in the room but did not mind it since we spend much of the time out in the town and the beach. We had a balcony with a nice view. It was not cheap but the best price we found but Ibiza is not cheap anyway.
Arriving with my friend for a weeks holiday that we had paid over £800/each, we knew the hotel was basic but it really is unacceptable. Had to wait 10 minutes to be acknowledged by staff to check in- we had emailed ahead and asked for a room with air-conditioning and we once again asked at check-in, to be told it was not possible even if we paid extra. The heat is UNBEARABLE over 30° all night with an old fan in the room that just blows around hot air, so sleep is impossible. There are no windows and so only option is to leave the balcony doors open to the noise and smell of bins being emptied at 6am. Hotel pool is 'broken' and when we asked if it was reopening staff replied with 'no closed'. You can use the pool in the hotel across the street, if you feel like walking around in your swimming clothes which is just very inconvenient and embarrassing. Jet 2 are no help whatsoever when we asked to transfer hotels it is so bad, just claiming (as do the hotel) that air conditioning and pool are not advertised on the website. It is not acceptable to be paying this amount of money for this lack of service and quality, go ANYWHERE else but this hotel.…
Hi, i want to tell something that happened the night i stayed at the hotel. My name is Jacob and i am suffering from a rare form of autism. That night i went out in the street, while waiting for my friends i was approached by some guys whom noticed my disease. Few of them were making fun of me, when suddenly Silvia (Or Elisa, the italian girl, i can't remember her name) came out from the hotel to defend me, kindly kicking them away. That was great, thank you again Silvia (or whatever your name was)!
Stayed here for a few days with a couple friends of mine and noticed that the people at the front desk were very helpful. Elisa in particular was amazing, she's very easy to talk to. She spoke Spanish and English very well. She would even go out of her way with giving us directions to local places, recommendations on restaurants and beaches. Really made us feel welcome and we'd gladly come back.
I have stayed in this hotel on my own, in a couple, with a friend and a group of 3. The staff are lovely. The atmosphere is relaxed. It's simple but clean and the location is great - nice and quiet at night and walkable to Ibiza Town and Playa D'en Bossa. I love it and will be coming back year after year after year. Thank you Don Quijote staff - you really make the place special
Very old hotel with a bad service. Small room badly furnished without AC. It got very hot we couldn’t sleep. No space for drying towels or bathing suits , humidity! The view was the garbage deposit, where all the previous customers threw there cigarette butts and other stuff, disgusting! Extremely high prices (we paid 100€ Per night per person) for the level of service!
This hotel is ideally situated being just a couple of minutes from Figueretas beach. It is pretty basic to be honest, having seen better days and is rather shabby but clean. I made the error of booking a single room which was depressingly small, tatty and claustrophobic with no a/c. More of a broom cupboard! I paid extra to move into a double room - still with no a/c but it was airier and even had a small fridge (also on it's last legs). For the money, I could have stayed in a better hotel and will definately do so on my next trip.
Very old hotel, unconfortable bed, furniture and toilet extremelly old and very expensive for the quality. The only positive thing is that is close to Ibiza town. It needs an urgent renovation. Breakfast ok.
For starters, they do not have air conditioning making it unbearable to sleep to the point where I had to sleep at the beach my very first day. There was a lot of noise all day long and they don’t provide hair dryer . Furthermore, every time I put something in the mini bar (including ice due to the room temperature) it would be gone the next day . I absolutely DO NOT recommend
