Perfect location close to the beach and walking distance to ibiza town harbor. Quiet nerbourhood with great restaurant. Excellent service from the very friendly staff like Luis and Lucia from check-in to check-out. Great breakfast terrace and stunning view from the roof-top terrace. Our room had sea view perfect for our after beach drink.

My better half and I sadly stayed here for 10 nights having paid a deposit 6 months in advance for a PREMIUM ROOM WITH SEA VIEW. When we arrived we were put in a tiny rubbish, damp, smelly, dingy room with broom cupboard bathroom in the back of the hotel with postage stamp view of the sea. I immediately went to complain and was told they would have the correct so called Premium room free the next day. Funny how they didn't mention the fact we were staying in the wrong much cheaper room to begin with. Anoyed we spent 1 night in the hideous room and ended up in the correct much larger room which overlooked the Carrer Ramon Llull steps. Room was a slight improvement, but similar as with the previous room smelled like urine. We walked down to Lidl to buy some bleach later that day to remedy the situation. AC air filter was totally blocked with dirt so we cleaned it ourselves. Because we booked direct and paid cash I qaulified for a 10% discount and was told at any time could enjoy a free bottle of Cava on the house. Sadly when I requested the Cava the response was NO. The staff member even went so far as to pull faces "in secret" after which time I sturnly put him to rights in no uncertain terms!!! The rubbish cheap plonk was handed over and we walked off irritated. Honestly this hotel is the pits! If the breakfast was not free, nobody would bother paying money for it. Avoid the drip coffee at all cost. The Solarium is OK, however the Jacuzzi is sadly long gone. Location is the only thing going for this sad place and that is why this is such poor value for money. We will never return to this...what I would class as a HOSTEL at best, and instead find a decent hotel slightly further away from Ibiza old town.

Very close to the beach.. Great stay! The room had a comfy bed, good bathroom, good air con. Even had a TV! The room was quiet and had good shutters to make it dark. The breakfast was adequate. The customer service was fantastic! Literally would do anything they could to make your stay amazing! Let us borrow a beach umbrella, let us leave our luggage there. Even managed to get us in or room by 12.30 instead of 2pm which was very cool! If I went back to Ibiza I would 100% stay here.

I spent four nights with my boyfriend here and this is what we found: + The receptionists are very friendly. + The room was clean and it had sexy lights which changed into four different colours and it included a private bathroom with a shower and curtain, wc, washbasin and mirror (no hairdrier). They changed towels and bedsheets every two days but they cleaned it everyday and replaced your toiletries (shampoo, shower soap and toilet paper). + AC worked well. + Breakfast: from 9 to 11 am (so you can sleep late): basic buffet but nice (good croissants, toasts, eggs, salad, ham, cheese, fruit, manufactured juice and coffee) + Location was great since you only walk 5 minutes for fast food restaurants or Figueretes beach (not very cool beach but if you only want a beach you have it) and beachwalk restaurants. D'alt Vila, the port and posh restaurants are 15 minutes walking. + They have lockers for your belongings when you leave the hotel. - Parking: you must park 10 minutes walking from the hotel. The area around the hotel is for residents so you need a card to show on your dashboard. - Expensive for a one-star hotel. You pay for Ibiza and its location but it's the price for a very good hotel in the peninsula. - There was a TV but channels were not programmed very well. - Wi-fi didn't work well. - It was not easy to get a shuttle bus to the airport so we took a taxi (13€). - The jacuzzi or little swimming pool they show in pictures does not exist

We stayed here for 4 nights, had a room with dbl bed, balcony with sea view and breakfast included. Breakfast was every day the same but I do not consider this as a minus. Staff was very nice and helpful, reception opened 24/7. One minus for older people or less able to walk people as there is many stairs and no lift in the hotel. There was cleaning service every day. Location is just amazing :1minute to the beach, 10min to the centre, 15min to the Port and 10min to Lidl.lots of shops and bara nearby however you can sleep as not party hotel. We had Air con &tv as well.wifi worked well. Airport 25min from nearby bus stop. Close to Amnesia club by bus or Ushuaïa by bus.

We shot over to Ibiza for a quick two night stay arriving at Midnight, I thought of changing hotels for the second night! As pointed out in other reviews, the photos on the website are misleading, leading to high expectations to get you to book and this no doubt added to disappointment with the the premium “sea view” room lacking. Everything was a little too tired and basic, although the cleaning ladies do a job as best they can with what they have got. Location, location, location albeit at a relatively high price, but it is Ibiza and I guess everyone overcharges. The owners clearly do not read these reviews, or if they do they can’t be bothered to implement any recommended changes. The same budget value yogurts at breakfast, rolls cooked from frozen, cold coffee etc... things could be so much better for a little more effort and passion, the place lacked atmosphere, background music. The sea view is a joke, but on the plus side Fabio was very helpful and attentive. Just disappointment really, €248 euros for 2 nights just doesn’t buy you a lot these days it seems. There are solid concrete steps with a railing on one side only up to the hotel entrance, if you are a wheelchair user or struggle with stairs then I would not recommend this hotel, as it is as long as you don't expect too much and dismiss the photos on the website...... and stay for a couple of nights, maybe three at most, you'll be fine. Value for money at 2/3 the room rate still would have not been great. Hope Luis and Fabio can turn the place around.

Warm welcoming from very helpful staff, Spotlessly clean hotel, great location so close to the beach, old town , marina. Great breakfast choices, Taxi from airport €17, loved the roof top sun terrace so relaxing, beach towels provided. We booked the external bathroom, really didn’t understand what that meant. Bathroom is right next door worked perfectly. We had a balcony which was lovely to watch the sunset and stars. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay again when next in Ibiza. Thanks everyone

Kudos to the marketing Department for Hotel Marigna. The pictures online and the location were what drew us here. The pictures are unfortunately not representative of the experience. We opted for the balcony ocean view room and were sorely disappointed. Aside from the fact that we had to push the beds together (2 twins) in order to sleep in the “same bed”, the beds themselves were uncomfortable. The bathroom was outdated and poorly lit. So to look at the silver lining, I opened the balcony doors only to be looking at our neighbors on a semi private balcony. The half-wall dividing each room could’ve easily been hopped over, leaving an opportunity for potential theft. Hoping to insure our safety and that of our belongings, we “locked” the balcony doors by putting the peg in a hole on the ground...which could’ve easily been overtaken. Lastly, I understand the premise of electricity conservation, but having to leave the electronic key in a slot to have the A/C on was a gross inconvenience since no A/C during the hot days. When it was actually on while we were in the room, it only cooled somewhat after a long time to “warm up” it’s cooling capabilities. The best thing about this place (and the only reason for any star rating at all) is the location. It is close to the clubs in either direction (we walked to Pacha), Old town Ibiza, and the beach. We definitely enjoyed the island and will be back but we will not be staying here and would recommend you choose elsewhere as well.
