Detailed Reviews
My wife and I escaped two days to Ibiza from our stay in Barcelona and we chose Hotel Royal Plaza. Upon arrival early in the morning, the very first thing we noticed is how the cleaning staff was meticulously cleaning every each of the entry way and lobby area. We were literally shocked how well they were cleaning. Unfortunately we were not able to check in that early in the morning, but the staff was exceptionally nice and found an area where we could relax and get some work done. We were able to check in approximately 2 hours after we arrived. The room that was assigned to us felt like an apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great. The front desk staff gave me some excellent tips on restaurants and beaches in Ibiza. The location was PERFECT! The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from Ibiza Town. We highly recommend stay on this side of town versus the beach, but that's our personal choice. The beach hotels are overpriced, food is super expensive and really nothing to do other than the beach and clubs. Ibiza Town is a nice, quaint area with shops, great food and amazing sites. The front desk staff blew our socks off. We returned from a snorkeling. and boating trip to the different islands in Ibiza and Formentera and to our surprise we had a bottle of Spanish cava (champagne) and some gummy candy waiting in our room. Upon check in the staff notice that day was my wife's birthday and they set up that surprise for her!

Good hotel and in good location which good sized rooms and a pool on the roof. The only issue for me that for a 4 star hotel there were no iron/ ironing board facilities for guests which is such a basic requirement for any hotel that claims to be 4 stars. They have an ironing/ laundry facility which obviously costs more money to use, but if I want a shirt ironed I have to give it to them the day before. Please please invest in irons/ ironing boards for guests. It’s a basic facility for guests to use.

I was very disappointed by this hotel, the rooms are of an ancient mixed modern style, as soon as you enter you don't smell a scent, we asked for a double room and they put two beds together, we pointed out the inconvenience and they made fun of us by telling us that they changed it but in reality they used double sheets, and then the next day redone them with single sheets. The following day they didn't change our towels, sorry for a 4 star hotel that charges 250 euros per couple, I don't expect that.
I wouldn't go back

I have stayed here before and for the price I thought the location was ok and this was ok for a one day transit stop but I will never book here again. In this time of Covid 19 cancelations I have been pleasantly surprised about how easy and accomodating most companies are but not the Royal Plaza Hotel. They will not be open during my stay and they will not refund my charge to my credit card they will only give me a voucher/coupon for the value that is only good for 12 months. I have no use for this and can't use it. I paid you up front for goods and services and you are closed and canceled the reservation on me. I did not cancel the reservation. Therefore I want my money back. They will not refund me. This is terrible practice and no one should ever risk booking at this hotel in case something out of your control happens. They will not reimburse you properly. Go to some other hotel that is reputable. This hotel has horrible business practices.

I booked a room in this hotel for my client Daniela R Shayeb via booking.com. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we were asked to cancel the reservation with NO COST with the promise of a refund. None of the emails sent to the hotel have been responded nor has the refund been taken care of. Truly disappointed and therefore not able to recommend this hotel, unfortunately.

This hotel is very dated and the pictures look completely different of the roof terrace. The hotel looks like it has not been renovated for 50 years... It is on the outskirts of the town so be warned you will need taxis to get to the centre, castle and Harbour.
The view from our balcony looked like the Bronx, looking over dirty balconies and washing lines with people looking over into our room. We would not reccommend this hotel. We also left a designer t-shirt in the room and was told it wasn't there when we called so that must have been taken by a member of staff.

I spent two nights at the hotel Royal Plaza in Ibiza and I have just good comments and a super positive feedback for this hotel and its staff. Very helpful and committed to the mission of working together for a super CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I loved the proactivity of the staff. I would love to share my experience. My colleague and I had the flight back at 23.00 local time and at the check out I asked the manager to keep my luggage because I wanted to enjoy the rest of the day in Ibiza. The manager was super helpful in helping me/us and on the way back to the hotel to collect the luggage I asked if it was possible to get a shower at the common toilets of the hotel and the staff was super helpful in accepting my request. I suggest this hotel to all the future guests who would like to get a super service and a good hotel located in the center of Ibiza. Very recommended for business reasons.

I chose this hotel as it was close to the marina and our ferry over to Formentera. Its location was perfect and it was also an easy stroll to the restaurants in Dalt Vila.
Our room was very comfortable and I particularly enjoyed the use of the swimming pool and the sunbathing area.
I also found the reception staff to be charming, very helpful and friendly.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again as I thought it was excellent value for money.

We stayed three weeks in this hotel and the staff were really very kind.
I also appreciated the conspicuous improvement in breakfast in the last two days, perhaps only the Avocado I would have preferred to be able to cut myself.
I was sad to leave today with the downpour and not even being able to get a mini umbrella from the hotel since upon returning to Italy I wouldn't have been able to return it to them.
The girl at the reception on duty this morning 27.08 refused to give it to me.
All over the world, however, other hotels give them away in case of departure in bad weather and other couples in Ibiza even had large umbrellas given to them by other hotels... I hope for next year.
They cook very well and I would have been pleased to find staff in the restaurant who spoke Italian or at least English well...
As luck would have it, a couple of foreigners disturbed our night's rest last night with SCREAMING and DISCUSSIONS that continued again this morning at 7am to the point of waking us up!
I don't envy those who will have to sleep in a room next to this couple, yesterday I feared the worst. We were on the first floor.

+1
It is shabby, dirty, old and they don't know how to manage problems. I had to stay for work at this hotel up to 6 times between the months of April and June 2023 and on each of those stays I had problems.
â—¾ super old rooms with deteriorated furniture
â—¾ dirt, dust and cobwebs
â—¾ door smaller than the frame (it allowed them to see me from the hallway, a little, but yes)
â—¾ on one occasion I didn't have a desk when the website states that there is a desk (and they had the nerve to tell me that I should have indicated it when making the reservation. It's as if I had to indicate that I want a bed...)
â—¾ several burned out light bulbs and non-working sockets
â—¾ the shower head leaked through the joints and almost nothing came out where it touched
â—¾ there was no international channel on TV
I always informed the reception and they never knew how to give me solutions. I don't understand the positive comments, it's as if they were talking about another hotel. I don't know if there is a remodeled apartment or what... But what is clear is that this hotel cannot have 4 stars. It's crazy.

I paid €75 for an hour
I assume you mean for the electricity sockets, I don’t think so but you can pick on up at the airport before you leave, or on the island.
Good morning
you can access the pool area with the wheelchair, but no walk in showers, all bathtub
