Well I am now the reviewer who has just returned from Villa Costa and stayed in the Artemis suite. The service from Mario and his staff is first class and the food is of superb quality.I suggest the previous reviewer in this suite needs to get over his fixation with the shower unit and take a more holistic view of this...

Returned again to Villa costa this year and it was just as fabulous as last year. Mario and his team have not lost any of their first class service. The villa, gardens, pool and terrace area are immaculate. As usual the food was top class, fresh cooked and imaginative, top marks to chef for some wonderful dishes and Mario for...

I really understand all the reviews on this site, but I have not read one from any one who stayed in the Artimis suite as we did in May of this year. If you had you would have cause for complaint. The shower room was not only what was advertised but the shower base and the seat in the shower...

Reading Tripadvisor reviews can sometimes leave you confused when you read both good and bad comments about a property. As there were mostly positive reports we felt happy to book at Villa Costa, and we found our stay there offered us a very relaxing and pleasurable holiday, and personally have no negative comments to make about the hotel. We found...

Excellent reviews like this one don’t arise through chance. They are founded on the hotel management having a long-term planning and review process, maintaining a small “family” of motivated staff and never losing sight of the importance of encouraging repeat business. It is only with the resulting, rare attention to detail, albeit invisible to the guests, that this pretty oasis...

We booked the Artimis suite last year to accomodate 3 people. Unfortunately on our first day we were puzzled to find that there were not enough sunchairs. We complained about this to the manager and they "borrowed" some cheap plastic sunchairs as a stopgap, as they assured me thier additional deluxe sunchairs would arrive soon. Well they never arrived so...

My husband and I stayed for two weeks 21st May 2013. This was our second visit and it was even better than our first. Mario the owner and Sophia his mother go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are are always at hand to offer any assistance you may need. Theo the bar manager and waiter...

Great small hotel with immaculate gardens and pool area. Stayed at start of the season and not everything in the way of food and drinks available, but got better by week 2. Front of house was Theo. Fabulous and friendly bar man and waiter and all round great fun. Room was compact and simply furnished with shower room and lovely...

This was our first time at Villa Costa and it won't be our last. Only 7 rooms and 5 of the 7 couples had already been to stay there before. Great atmosphere and even better food and wine. The service from being greeted at the gate on arrival to our departure could not have been better. We had the garden...

We had been to Kefalonia before but it was our first time at Villa Costa. We quickly found out that the majority of guests were regulars who repeat book. At first we found the owner/manager offhand but as the week went by you realised he was probably a bit shy. He certainly runs an impressive set up. Our room was...
