We had a fortnight towards the end of October. We were very lucky with the weather - sunny days, warm evenings with only 2 days rain during our stay. Temperatures ranged between 21 and 26c. Villa Costa is adult only and has 8 boutique rooms. Ours had sea views and a covered terrace. There was a swimming pool (water slightly... More

Our second visit and still first class. A couple of nights the food menu was not to our liking so we ate next door, not a problem. There is a new room now built so one of the rooms is under a "roof" and no longer gets any sun, look before you book. A joy of Costa is there are... More

We were there from 6th to 13th September and arrived during a heavy storm. The hotel is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived and saw our room "Artemis" (top floor on the right) it was just perfect with or without the rain. Right on the front, cross the road and there's the beach with sun beds and umbrellas... More

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Mario's hotel. The quality of the facility and the food was excellent. Mario's team were all first class, particularly Theo and his sister as well as Mario's mum, who is still working at 82. The hotel is very small and niche facility with only eight rooms, so you do tend to... More

It was our first time at Villa Costa. A superb staff led by Mario, gave us a fantastic relaxing holiday. Theo the waiter/ bar man, a charming man, who made the stay so pleasant. Friendly family service. The food was superb. The Wine Tasting evening was very informative and enjoyable. I tried to find fault,it was hard, the only thing was... More

We could have spent all week in the hotel, not walked out of the door and still had a great time, 10 metres (tops) from the beach, Mario a superb host with the rest of the team, including Theo who always has a smile on his face. However we did leave the site and hired a car for 4 days,... More

We love Villa Costa; simple as that. There is no where else on Kefalonia that can match it for its charm, style and level of service. As serial returnees we know what to expect and we have never been dissappointed. Mario has a winning formula; its small, relaxed and very friendly. With only 8 rooms you certainly feel special when... More

Mario and his small team made our holiday a most lovely and relaxing experience. From the minute we entered the gates and were guided to our room we were in heaven. The food was excellent and the atmosphere full of calmness and serenity. It was unfortunate that we were unable to stay for the two weeks we had planned however... More

First time visitors in June. We picked Villa Costa mainly due to all the wonderful reviews and we were definitely not disappointed. I don't think I have ever got into relaxation mode as quickly as I did on arrival. Again on the theme of other recent reviews, we too would like to point out that if you are not prepared... More
