All the promising reviews of this hotel are correct. Very well equipped rooms_fridge, kettle and hairdryer. Lovely staff especially Claire, Hercules, Nic and Maria. Not far from village with lots of tavernas. Not one bad meal. A special mention to Welsh lady and her family from mountain ash and all the other great people we met. A lot of whom...

This was our first trip to Kefalonia and we chose to stay in Skala at the Anassa. We weren't disappointed: the location was ideal- close to the beach, beautiful scenery and a short walk to the town. We wanted a relaxing holiday in an unspoilt location and this is exactly what we got, although this didn't mean we were short...

Weekly curry and bbq nights held at the hotel. Perfect location with centre of Skala a short walk away. The hotel also has its own sunbeds/parasols on the beach. Would definitely...

Just over the road from the shingle beach and with a drinks service. Loads of tavernas to choose from within a 10 minute stroll. We ate at a different one...

We stayed in a bigger room this year with the mezzanine level (children growing so we wanted a bit more room). This room was amazing and still had a fantastic view. The Bbq...

We have been to Skala many times but this was our first stay at the Anassa Hotel and we are only sorry we didn't discover this little gem sooner. We had a 4 hour delay at Manchester Airport - courtesy of Thomson Airways and...
